Why did the Vikings decide to name Kyler Murray the starting quarterback?
Super Bowl, no problem.
Just want the Vikings to win a Super Bowl before we die. I will ride with this group. Seriously, man. Please. And away we Go.
Okay, it's the it's the day after this the smoke is settling on the Vikings quarterback competition. I'm using air quotes for Apple and Spotify. Kyler Murray slung it around the lot yesterday. He looked like a a free-minded quarterback, just with with my own eyes, watching kind of a lighter practice yesterday. So we're gonna do a couple things here on this Wednesday Purple Daily. We're gonna start with Judd's camp notes.
Shut.
Presented by Plunk is Fast Control. And then we'll get into a write that down session. Declan's gonna join. Uh he's on Scornar Twin Show duty from Target Field, so he'll join with a very special guest predictor as well today that will get you here, Jub. But uh let's go to Quick Trip before we get into the camp notes.

Judge Camp Notes.
All right, Judley. You and I were both there. Yeah, they they had the pads on, but it was it was only a nine session uh practice versus sometimes they go like fourteen. So a bit of a lighter day yesterday. And Kyler spoke to the media. I think JJ's gonna speak at some point here. He he politely just kind of, you know, I guess politely declined respectfully and said, I'll talk at some point. But where do you want to start here on this Wednesday camp notes?
Actually I want to start with something uh before we get to the quarterbacks that Kevin O'Connell said yesterday that had nothing to do with the decision on Kyler, which of course he talks extensively about. Uh but within that he said that the plan is on Saturday. That everyone's gonna play in the preseason game against the Giants in New Jersey, which perked my ears up. Now I have to look vi this up. I meant to, uh, this morning and I just plum forgot. But when's last time Justin Jefferson, assuming he plays, is gonna play uh or has taken a snap in a preseason game? Um so and this is you know this is something that really teams have gotten away from in recent years, which is playing any it it's your first team might get a series, uh, but that doesn't mean everybody on the first team does.
So who plays? Kevin O'Connell definitely opened the door towards everyone is going to play, ever uh each player will have their own plan, so it might not all be the exact same length of time. But I found that to be very intriguing because as Kevin O'Connell tries to run, you know, a tougher camp, and that that can be debated.
