On a scale of 1 to 10, on the newly created too-damn-early meter, trademarked, it's 25 too-damn-early for the Bears to add another receiver in the room. Bro, like 10 on the too damn early meter. This is the test, is it not, gentlemen? This is the test.
If you really go with your draft board and this and that, and there's a wide receiver who's the best player available, do you mean to tell me that's what you're going to do? How many receivers are you going to end up with here? Infinity by rule of position availability? How are you going to put that team together? Hmm?
You can have one of them set the edge like your old OC did when he weighed about $1.75 soaking wet. Is that how this works? Okay, maybe I'm a little traumatized. But no, this is the test. Number one, yes, it's too damn early, so I'd put it at a 10.

Number two, it is the truest test. If your best player available at 25 is a receiver, do you do it? Do you? Do you? So first of all, shout out to the newly created Too Damn Early meter, which I... had a big news here a fresh chuckle at like your next high school event that you're gonna do play by play for yes two damn early meters well well i i'll say this on a scale of one to ten
I would say this is a six because if you believe that the best player on the board is a receiver and you stick to what you're talking about, and last I checked, DJ Moore is no longer on the team, they could take a receiver there and I'd be like, all right, y'all must know what you're doing because I had doubts when you drafted Luther Burton III when you did in the second round. I was wrong.
Luther Burton III made sense in the grand scheme of things. I will say this. If you take a receiver with number one, you better be getting to the quarterback. Whoever you take later better be getting to the quarterback. Or you're making him block on the line on the left side. Well, I'm just saying, like, I get best player available. You have a board. You rank the players.
But I also believe strongly in tiers. And in tiers, you have your blue chippers. You have the next guys. And so there could be a receiver there and there could be a defensive end there. And you might want to just take that defensive end. That would make it make sense, but I'm not for the sense making. You're a 10. I am go. Congratulations, by the way. First time for everything. I wrote down the number six as well. The Bears have two dependable wide receivers on their roster right now. We're not even sure what they're going to get out of Roma Dunze next year. I think Luther Burden is on the upswing, but you can't quite, you can't just assume that. So yeah, I'm going to, and yes, Ryan Poles, as he said, patted himself on the back. They took best player available.
They couldn't believe that Luther Burden was available where he was. So they took him. So I, yeah, I'm at a six. You know, it's too early, but not that much too early to think about.
That's kind of how I put it, put a look on it and said, yeah, I feel like it's too early because receiver, I know they have glaring needs on the defensive line, but I can't be mad at what I saw happen last year, both going for that receiver early and also waiting forever for a running back. And the running back thing worked out as well. No, I love it because it really does test the theory.
And Ryan Poles did bring it up. You guys saw what happened when we drafted Luther Birdie. Oh, yeah. And he was right to do so. Like, get your credit where it's due. But at the same time, okay, what if it happens again? What are you going to do then? Huh? Huh? Huh? And I've not forgotten about Khalif Raymond either. He is a receiver, but he's going to give you 200, 300 yards maybe. I don't know.
I feel like he's going to give us more in the media department, I feel like. Seems like a lot of these guys are. Yeah, I'm very excited to talk to them. Neville Gallimore, Garrett Bradbury, all these guys. You heard about Neville Gallimore's favorite player growing up being David Garrard? I did hear about this. Isn't that lovely?

That was pretty neat. So was that the alternative to alcohol? I don't know. It's just, it was, it was a wedding where the religion of the bride and groom and the families was that they don't drink. Okay.
And so there was other stuff going on. And so I got to shoot clays with a shotgun and it was pretty fun and awesome. That's pretty sick. Yeah. I actually would take that over the alcohol any day. It was very satisfying and nobody got hurt. I don't know that I have a flex of any kind. Weddings are weddings. You know what? I'm not the one to ask. Why not? Nothing fun. What about an ice sculpture?
What about an oyster bar? Yeah, but those aren't really fun. Those are just kind of standard. Is that a flex? Oyster bar is a standard at the weddings you attend? Ice sculpture is a standard? I've been to more than one where that's been a thing. I'll take White Castle over that any day. Wow. Little Caesars was that when I was at recently in Detroit, which is pretty great. It's all good.
Wait a second. So what, what impressed you at a wedding? Babes.
i've been to weddings where there's like no ugly women and i was like this is amazing this is amazing it's like i was like you guys discriminate against people and no other people allow your wedding is like should i be happy to be in that's a good one should i be happy to be involved that's a flex all hot women at the wedding that's a flex i was just amazed actually it's like oh no ugly people
I don't know how to put this. Oh, no, go ahead and put it. I don't know if you guys are aware of this. I have a World Series ring. So I have been the biggest flex at a wedding. You brought the World Series ring out to the wedding? Look, the World Series ring I own is a special occasion. If you guys notice, I don't wear the ring. I don't have the ring. Because Jean hides it. No, no, she doesn't.
It's actually in a safe place in a bank. It's vaulted. Nobody can get to it. So, yes, I did take that to a wedding one time because it's a special occasion ring. It's all I use it for, for people who haven't seen it before. So, yeah, that's the best I could do. Damn, you were the flex at the wedding. I'd like to think so. I'd like to think so. Yeah. Chapter 4: What are Tim Doyle's insights on the NCAA tournament predictions?
For them to reach the Elite Eight is plus 220. Mm-hmm. I think UConn is a bit overrated. They lost two out of three games to St. John's. When you really look at their roster, maybe you can find one pro in Mullins, but the rest of their team is just okay. I think Michigan State, led by Joliet's own Jeremy Fears, I think that they're going to be really tough.
I have Michigan State in the Final Four, Florida, Arizona, to your point, guys. And then I have Iowa State coming out of the Midwest. I know that Michigan is number one in that bracket, but anybody who's watched Michigan the last five games, they're 0-5 against the spread. They looked very beatable, obviously, in Chicago, multiple games.
So I think Iowa State, they finally have the offense to balance their defense. But yeah, unfortunately, to your point before, it's just going to be a lot of ones, a lot of twos, maybe a three in Michigan State. Tim Doyle, always bringing the fun, the knowledge, the minivan talk, and a Gibson's reference. Love a good minivan. I think we hit bingo. Yeah, we've got to do this again sometime.
