That came through last night. And she wasn't the only one with news to report. So Brett Bugansky of Fox 32, he and Tia Ewing, both were working last night on the Bears' stadium beat. And Bugansky had these updates, wanted to share with you. Number one, Mike Braun, the governor of Indiana, was on Fox 32 News last night and asked if anything had changed since the Bears announcement on Friday. The quote was not really because now, even though the clock was running out, the clock resets itself. Less urgently because they made a decision, the Bears, on what location they're going to focus on.

Because, look... I still believe the Bears want to build in Arlington Heights. And once the legislative period ended, the session, the spring, and you knew they would need a special session to meet the Bears' stated timeline of when they want to make a decision about where they're putting shovels in the ground. The Bears had to do something, and they did something by saying, hey, guess what? We're going to move forward with our project in Indiana. That's pretty vague, but at the same time, it does put pressure on lawmakers in Illinois to do something to say we can advance it here as well.
I don't necessarily know because we don't know what the lawmakers want to do. And we don't know when they say focus the bears, what focus means. I can imagine that means spending more of your money and your time on the other project. That would make it make sense. But until they define that for us. We're left in this space that doesn't make a lot of sense. And Kevin Warren, who is the Bears president and the lead on this project, and George McCaskey, who is the CEO and, frankly, the owner, you know, now that Virginia has passed, we haven't heard from them.
