But y yesterday, for the first time, what has now colloquially been known as the Poorman Five have returned to the Sydney Swans headquarters and uh addressed I'm not well I'm not sure gonna say who they've addressed, I'm only reading it, but I do know and Trust me on this, please. So the five have r have returned and they addressed the whole of the football club?
Yes. Uh all staff, including the members uh of uh the men's and women's team. So everybody was assembled. Yeah, ev everybody was assembled.
And did they address them as a group or did they speak individually?
No. Uh they spoke individually. Each of them uh took their turn to speak and they spoke about their position and what they needed to express individually, which is what they wanted to do. Yeah. Apologies? Yes, they were uh deeply Remorseful. Uh they showed genuine deep regret as to what had happened, how it had transpired, and the effect that it had had on the football club. That was wasn't lost on them at all. How broad reaching this was. And we're not just talking about the players involved here, we're talking about all aspects of the football club and the fans, but not just the fans, but also the wider football. community, they have a great comprehension of that according to this person and the way they spoke.
Was it an awkward situation? Was there was there tension? What was the atmosphere like when they walked back into the football club for the first time?

In person re engagement with the club that they had of any sort. So it was Uh the the word uh orca wasn't used but It it wasn't easy for anybody. Like that's how it was described to me. It wasn't easy for anybody. It certainly wasn't easy for the five players. Like they didn't waltz in there with big smiles on their face, that type of thing. And um It's been described as a good first step, so there's still work to be done here.
So the inch well the question that everyone wants to know the answer to is whether these five players will be at the first day of preseason training. It was a was that a topic that was addressed at this at this first coming together of the five and the football club?
Well, I I'll answer I'll answer it in this way, that the leaders the leaders of the club I'm talking about, so their leadership group, the captains and those that were there, we know that uh we saw a vision of Milsey turning up on crutches after his knee surgery. They made it they made it very clear that they wanted the players back on the field. They wanted that group of players back on the field. All of them. Yes, and that everyone needed needs to move forward together. Like that's what they're saying now. We all we all need to we all need to move forward together. That was the expression right that was used.
