Jonathan Brown's gonna join us from the Brisbane Lions. Uh good morning Gary. Good morning, everybody. Great to be here this morning. Uh very much looking forward to the program this morning. Isn't there some good stuff coming our way this morning? And I gotta say, for the first time ever, this is the first time ever. During our program yesterday, we were taking calls about um um uh Lockie Neal that and our our phone line blew up and our text machine blew up, and in the middle of all the

On the uh line and couldn't get through and then it tried to ring me and I couldn't answer it because we're on air. I tried to ring him back after the program and he's ghosted me, Gary. Well

ghosted me. He
rang me for something as well that I haven't been able to help him out with because it's just that you know, this it's supply and demand, let's put it that way. What did he want from you? No, not something on air, but um he's gonna join us a little bit later. So I haven't been able to um fulfill his request unfortunately.
I know I know what he would have been ringing through for yesterday because he would have been upset with my line of uh what I thought about Lockie Neil. So he would have been wanting to have a crack of me. I
tell the truth.
I don't know why he didn't answer the phone yesterday, but uh we do have him on a bit later this morning. So I am looking forward to that conversation, although I think I'm gonna get one around the ears this morning.
I hope you do. Um the text as you said, it was a very emotional day yesterday and uh for the vast majority, you people can get through life with um a different opinion to theirs. Some lose their mind and their head, um but that's okay. I understand it all. Um I've got a lot of stuff I want to talk about today. I think there's a couple of the bigger stories of Grand Final Week are about to merge today. One that's captured my attention. like nothing else. But rip I'll get to that in a minute. Um but I just want to quickly say you are going to talk to us about um the meeting that took place for the Pullman Five and the Sydney Swan Jess. I don't need to know where or how you got uh details of this. But the what the information that you're going to be able to get to provide for us is uh it is enlightening.
Just let me say that. And I'm not joking. I know I can put some mail on it every night now and then. But um that i that is gonna be an extraordinary chat about that, mate.
Uh yes, and just on the Lockie Neal stuff, and I was interested in the way that Jared phrased this last night around the fact that he he looked like a beaten man. He's been very strong on the fact that Lockheed should have played, but he looked like he'd been beaten down by very powerful people around the game when he was on G60 last night. He was very despondent about there was no optimism whatsoever. whatsoever about the fact that Lockie Neal may get offered the appeal. Well I don't think it's continual. The
I don't think he's gonna he thinks he's gonna uh have any success with the appeal. Um but yeah, as I said, people um I don't quite well, there would be maybe there are a section of the crowd that uh uh a section of the audience or a section of the footy public who are cheering for him to miss. Um I think that was Jared's take on it all. Right.
