Chapter 1: What is the main topic discussed in this episode?
well my friends welcome back to spot on with link lauren we have a bunch of hot topics to get into today i hope you are doing well i know a ton of people were affected by this horrific snowstorm people on my team were affected on monday and tuesday but we're here living on a prayer and making it work so i'm sending love to all of you i know some folks don't have power they've gone to hotels their dogs they've taken everything packed it in the car
And they've gone and run to try to find some safety and security because of this insane snowstorm. But it seems like it's behind us. We're just waiting for a lot of the snow to melt and to thaw and to go away and to evaporate. and any other scientific terms I could pull out right now. So we're waiting for the snow to dissipate and go away so we can move on with our daily lives.
And it's interesting, some of these cities are so not equipped to handle any little bit of snow. It's very funny to me, like living in New York City for years, I'm always shocked at how ill-equipped they are for the snow and the ice, and maybe it's that way in your town.
Chapter 2: What criticism does Bill Maher have for Hollywood celebrities?
I know I have friends in Nashville who were incredibly affected by what happened, and so I'm sending love to all of you, but we're going to dive into some hot topics and try to distract you from everything going on in the real world for about half an hour, 45 minutes right now. So the first story I want to get into, okay, has to do with Bill Maher.
Now, you guys know I am not aligned with Bill Maher on everything, but we are aligned on the fact that we are tired of the woke crap in Hollywood, okay? We are both very anti-woke. We're done with the men and women's sports, the open borders, the crap, the 15,000 different pronouns. So I am so aligned with Bill Maher on all of that, and he is a legend now. in television, right?
So Bill Maher, he is calling out other celebrities for virtue signaling. Now, virtue signaling is basically when the celebrities go online or TV and they try to tell us all how to live our lives. They opine and say, this is what you should do. This is who you should vote for. This is who you should support in an election. But then it doesn't have any bearing on their lives, right?
They don't have anything to do with it because they live in massive mansions and gated communities, sort of like George Clooney. Remember George Clooney wrote that letter during the election saying, you know, Biden needs to drop out and we need to do this. And then George Clooney said, I can't live in California because of the policies. I'm moving to Europe, sir.
We don't need the virtue signaling. Okay. That is virtue signaling to a T. So let me tell you what's going on with Bill Maher. So he told the California post that it's time for Hollywood celebrities to shut up. Here's the quote. Hollywood is sort of the epicenter of the woke left. I don't think. they're doing the Democratic Party any favors.
I think if Democrats want to win elections in the future, job one, tell the celebrities to just shut the F up. You're not helping. You don't strike people in most of the country as sensible or in touch with reality. Thank you, Bill Maher. Thank you so much.
It's like when Ellen DeGeneres, you know, wants to opine on American politics, but then she picks up with her billion dollars and flees to, you know, the English countryside just because she can. Or when Oprah goes out there, remember Oprah before the last election, she came out and endorsed Kamala and Oprah was like, you guys,
if you don't vote for kamala we will never have another election ever and it's like oprah people used to like you i mean i some of my quotes i tell myself are things oprah said 10 15 years ago so i can't stand oprah right i think she's a joke and a partisan liberal hack but i still have some of those quotes in my head so it's folks like oprah george clooney ellen degeneres who want to virtue signal and tell us all how to live our lives i think
it's tough for these hollywood celebrities is that they have absolutely no influence left no one cares anymore people are either following influencers or they're just not following celebrities at all they're following politics i think we sort of lost that era of celebrity in 2015 2016 that's when celebrities really found out they had no influence because every big celebrity everyone beyonce all of them you know lady gaga katy perry

Chapter 3: Why is Kristen Stewart considering leaving the United States?
So I own firearms, I'm licensed to carry, and I also care about agriculture. Way before I was running for the United States Senate, you know, I served on the Ag Committee. I'm the girl who's actually lived in rural Texas. I'm the girl that has actually driven farm equipment.
Okay, as someone from Texas, let me start off by saying, has anyone seen that star... Has anyone seen the Starsky and Hutch movie from like 2004 or 5 with Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson? Maybe we can put a picture up. But there was that Starsky and Hutch reboot with Snoop Dogg. And he played like Pooh Bear or Honey Bear or Honeydew. And he kind of was like a pimp.
He was kind of like this pimp daddy guy, Snoop Dogg. And he had this like hat. She kind of is looking like Pooh Bear, Honey Bear. She looks... Kind of like Snoop Dogg in the Starsky and Hutch movies to me. I know that's a non sequitur.
But Jasmine Crockett, when she's in front of super liberal audiences in D.C., she's probably like, we need gun rights and gun rights on the book and take the guns away and we shouldn't have this and this and that. And then when she's down in Amarillo, Texas, she's like, I am a gun-toting Texan.
If you ask her one question about firearms or ammunition or anything, give her a gun and ask her to take it apart, put it back together. She's not going to be able to do that. But Jasmine Crockett, she will tell you whatever you want. And that's sort of how the Democrats are. And there's some Republicans this way too in Congress and in the Senate.
President Trump's the most authentic person because he'll tell you exactly how he feels all the time. So he's in his own, a league of his own. But a lot of these Democrats like Gavin Newsom, Jasmine Crockett, and many others They'll say whatever they have to say when they're sitting in front of you. They don't care. They have no soul. If they're talking to one audience, they're pandering to you.
If they're talking to another, they're pandering to you. They're trying different accents, personalities. Their life stories change overnight. And so I don't take Jasmine Crockett seriously at all. And as a Texan, I think her Senate run is very entertaining. I think it's more of an audition for like Real Housewives or some type of show on Oxygen, Bad Girls Club, than it is a real earnest campaign.
Now, speaking of grifters who invent new personalities every single day, we have to talk about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Scamalot. They were at the Sundance Film Festival. I mean, what a fall from grace. Okay. They're at a film festival doing the red carpet, like wannabe influencers and celebrities when they were real royalty, right?
People would have been flying to see them. Celebrities who are at Sundance would have been jumping through rings of fire and hoops just to hang out with her if she was still a duchess, right? If she were still a duchess and living over in London, eating crumpets and scones, people would be jumping through hoops to hang out with her. And now she's having to do these desperate PR stunts.
