We decided to start a golf comedy podcast because we're both big golf lovers and we wanted to spread that joy. And it's called Three Putt Bogey.
It's coming from the perspective of golfers who are sometimes good enough to hit two great shots in a row, but almost never good enough to hit three. And a three putt bogey is kind of the purest expression of that. Every golfer knows what that's like.
Yeah, I mean, that's kind of the show in a nutshell. Obviously, we're going to talk a lot about the game of golf that we love so much, how absurd it is and how fun it is and how just, you know, it's vexing and frustrating. But more than anything, just how much we love the greatest game in the world. We love it anyway. We're putting these out every Friday morning for your weekend golf routine. Yeah, Adam, I wouldn't hit a shot the other day in front of the cart girl.
Let's talk about the meltdown a little bit because... At this level, it is so much less about making birdies. Yeah. And so much more about avoiding doubles and triples.
It's the curse of where I am right now, which is truly great shot, truly terrible shot. It's weird how much it changes from shot to shot at this point.
This is a show about sharing our experiences on the golf course and how absurd and funny they can be.
Yeah, and one thing for sure we're going to do every week is our personal golf journeys because we come from a couple of different places. I'm here in Atlanta playing basically weekly casual rounds with some of my oldest friends and shooting like in the low to
mid-90s still. And I'm playing a lot of club tournaments in Los Angeles, which for some reason hasn't managed to take all the fun out of my game. We're trying to make the golf podcast we want to see out in the world. Exactly.
