0

17.581 - 29.713 Marvin Bartley

Good evening and welcome to Clyde One Super Scoreboard as we reach the midweek point where you say goodbye to the Scottish Premiership. Look ahead to the Scottish Cup final with a dose of the playoffs right in the middle.

Chapter 2: What concerns did Hearts express about pitch invasions?

29.733 - 45.208 Marvin Bartley

Hearts have issued an update on those full-time scenes at Celtic Park at the weekend. Reaction continues to come in from that Scotland squad announced by Steve Clarke for the World Cup yesterday. And the preview is very much on for Partick Thistle against St Mirren to see who will complete the line-up

0

45.188 - 65.053 Marvin Bartley

for next season's Premiership I'm Gordon Duncan and joining me tonight you've got Falkirk striker Brian Graham and Marvin Bartley just another quiet week in Scottish football you two yeah we thought it was going to be didn't we until Hearts released another statement today you said in your intro there that we waved goodbye to Scottish Premiership I'm not sure that they're doing so

0

65.033 - 89.978 Brian Graham

um but also you know you start to look forward to you know scottish cup final between dunfermline and celtic but anything but quiet gordon and be really interesting to see the fallout of this statement um again with the scotland world cup squad as well named yesterday a couple of surprises for me lennon miller not being in there was it was a massive one um a young man who's done extremely well been in a lot of squads of recent as well so i'm sure he's disappointed but for the rest of the boys you have to be absolutely buzzing for them

0

90.498 - 99.606 Unknown

Yeah, the season that keeps on giving, eh? So we had obviously the crowd on the pitch in the weekend, obviously the fallout from that, now the heart statement.

0

Chapter 3: How did fans react to Hearts' title loss to Celtic?

99.947 - 111.937 Unknown

We've got a cup final to look forward to. We've got a Premiership play-off. There's still a lot happening. It's been a fantastic season, but we all said on this show when we went into the post-Split fixtures that no team would win every fixture. Celtic went and did that.

0

Chapter 4: What updates were shared about Jens Berthel Askou's future?

111.957 - 120.505 Unknown

The two before that as well, they won seven in a row to get themselves over the line. Martin Aylward's team, congratulations, but I'm gutted for Hearts. We've got a few friends in that team.

0

120.485 - 146.273 Marvin Bartley

the way they lost it the last day in the last couple of minutes it was a sore one for them but you've got to congratulate Celtic 01419511025 what are you thinking tonight come on down and let us know what is on your mind we mentioned Hearts issuing a fairly strong worded update on the post-match scenes or the full-time scenes at the weekend the Scotland scored yesterday lots of calls coming in about that if you want to continue on that theme you can do

0

146.253 - 148.999 Marvin Bartley

I feel like this is a week of reflection for everybody.

0

Chapter 5: What are the implications of the upcoming Partick Thistle vs. St Mirren playoff?

149.059 - 163.249 Marvin Bartley

We did so much specifically on that final day. I don't know if we ever got the chance to look back more broadly with fans of other teams because clearly a lot of Celtic and Hearts focus here. Rangers fans, there's a lot going on with you at the moment and where you go from here in terms of

0

163.229 - 189.591 Marvin Bartley

the squad and the manager and can you go again next season and what about everybody else how would you sum up your season how do you look back on it it really is up to you tonight what you want to put across to the guys on 0141 951 1025 and I would love to hear from you Partick Thistle and St Mirren fans because one of you will take the final spot in the premiership next season and the first leg is tomorrow evening so 0141 951 1025 right now if you can

0

189.571 - 218.447 Marvin Bartley

and we'll speak to you very soon Brian Graham and Marvin Bartley are here do you know what I genuinely can never remember honestly and I'm not trying to cause trouble who elbowed who out of you two have you seen the size of those arms I'm surprised my face is still standing he elbowed you I just do you know what I overthink it so every time I try and bring it up in my head I can't remember who elbowed who because I feel like you're both likely yeah Brian's got it in him as well thank god there wasn't a bar back then by the way oh you'd have got six months

0

220.435 - 223.822 Unknown

Six months, man. I'm still picking up my cheek feeling that day at Hamden.

0

224.724 - 227.189 Brian Graham

So it was, he's a guilty party. Oh, he's a guilty party, wife. Oh, yes.

Chapter 6: How did the Scotland squad selection raise eyebrows?

227.289 - 234.765 Brian Graham

Brian was causing us massive problems. And then we were teammates, was it the following season? Following season, yeah. You alright, buddy, as you walked into the dressing room? Holding my cheek.

0

235.353 - 248.825 Marvin Bartley

any Livy fans want to put Marvin on the spot you get totally away with it last week we welcomed him back to the show and I think it was just such a busy night he got to just slip straight back into punditry mode after leaving Livingston what about you? are you giving us an exclusive what you're up to next season? what's your situation?

0

249.345 - 256.211 Brian Graham

Time will tell what a politician's answer that is I like that been available for a lot of games this season though 38 Brian now?

0

256.571 - 264.178 Unknown

38 yes been available for every single game so I think I've missed 10 training days over the course of the season so I think I'm doing no bad still fit as a butcher's dog

0

Chapter 7: What impact does squad age have on Scotland's World Cup chances?

264.158 - 281.724 Marvin Bartley

That sounds like an advert to me. That's a come and get me plea to other clubs by the sounds of it. Yeah, 100%. A few islands in a fire garden. John McGlynn listens. We know that as well, so it'll be straight on, I'm sure. Right, 01419511025. Give us a call. Let us know what you're thinking. That time of reflection, perhaps.

0

Chapter 8: Which players were highlighted as potential future stars for Scotland?

281.764 - 288.394 Marvin Bartley

How do you look back on the season? Maybe you want to look forward as Wednesday night, we're a few days away from the Scottish Cup final as well.

0

288.374 - 309.083 Marvin Bartley

remarkable to think that I reckon most people would have Celtic down for a double when a double another cup final and progression in Europe just imagine someone's been on a different planet since September you just lay that down that sounds alright that's a pretty good season just does not even begin to tell the story of how they got there

0

309.063 - 327.308 Unknown

they need to win this cup final first they do and if they do the board will be kicking themselves for not giving Martin O'Neill the league cup final because potentially I think if Martin was still there it could potentially be a treble for them but I don't think you can rule out Neil Lennon's Dunfermline side what they've done and the Premier League teams have beat over the course of the Scottish Cup to get themselves to the final

0

327.288 - 346.697 Marvin Bartley

Neil will be right up for it student against teacher it'll be a good game and a good advert for Scottish football You play paddle with Neil Lennon you were telling us is that I mean to move his competitive nature from paddle aside how much will he be desperate obviously to because that's proper history making stuff you know well

0

346.677 - 376.448 Brian Graham

we're just conditioned to view it through the Celtic lens and how it might be a double imagine Dunfermline win this cup don't you remind this guy of what happened in the semi-finals I know they're huge underdogs but can would you put it past it would you put it past them after the season we've had no I really really wouldn't and like you said the season we've had with so many ups and downs so many surprises you know could Dunfermline be the next one and Neil and his assistant Ian will definitely be telling the players that they'll have them well prepared as you said you know they've beaten Hibs they've beaten Aberdeen as well in this competition

376.428 - 391.838 Brian Graham

again Bryce sorry to bring up they beat obviously Falkirk as well so listen it's been absolutely fantastic for them so far but I know Neil and I know him well and he's a perfectionist and you know he won't want to say I'll go and be runners-up you know being also ran in that Scottish Cup final he'll want to go to Celtic or play against Celtic rather at Hampden and

391.818 - 413.1 Brian Graham

you know get the win and that's what we're telling to his players and they know they have to be at their best they've got some really really good young players within there they don't need Celtic to be slightly off it but um listen he'll go there believe in 100% and all the niceties that you'll see maybe before the game and then the build-up to the game as soon as that first whistle's blown you know Neil Lennon will be concentrating on his team and whatever they have to do to win and he has to do to win that game of football he'll be trying to do

413.958 - 429.696 Unknown

I think we have these players motivated. We knew we were very lucky to play under him, Marv, at Hibson. We know what he's like on a day-to-day basis. The players will feel 10 feet tall walking out on that day at Hampden for the cup final. I'm very sure of that. And by the way, as Marv mentioned there, they have got some really good young players. Boy Millen at the back, I really like.

429.736 - 440.809 Unknown

The boy Robbie Fraser at left back. And Chris Kane, they've got experience up there as well with the boy Todd. So they will cause Celtic problems. I don't think Celtic played particularly well against Hearts at the weekend, but they got the job done.
