Well, actually we well, we didn't know the update. Well I'm desperate to know his update. But yeah, maybe we should just sort of um Uh we we could be a d a dating agency now, I think, you know, uh kind of as a spin off. It's a natural progression, I think, isn't it? It could be. It could be messy, yeah. So remind us remind remind those that don't know, um, Andy
Absolutely. So he was series three, episode seven, and his title, episode title was My Wife's Affair Broke My Heart. So Andrew Irish Andy, as we lovingly know him, met his first true love in 2002. A British woman who was working in his hometown. Within three years, they were married. and they went on to have three children together. And they moved into a house in the Irish countryside, which they thought was their forever home. But then sadly her father passed away. This hit her really hard and she became very quiet and withdrawn. She stopped work and Andy tried everything he could to help support her. He took her on date nights, he made her breakfast in bed and tried to take care of everything just to give her that time to heal, but nothing was working, so they moved to England to be closer to her family.

Sadly, her mother also passed away and she became incredibly distant and she didn't want Andrew. To show her any affection, if she caught him looking at her body, for example, she would make him feel dirty for finding her desirable. Um Andy was invited to a sort of boys' beer club and he found a support network in men who were there, one of whom was his daughter's best friend's father. They became friends and they started going out as a four with their wives. But that's when something shifted, and Andy started to notice that his wife w her behaviors were changing, so she was joining gym classes and going open water swimming with this man. They went on a family holiday and Andy leant over to kiss his wife, but she told him
that that was inappropriate. And of course he then realised that something was very wrong. Why was she saying it was inappropriate for her husband to to kiss her? So he confronted her and asked her if she was having an affair. And she admitted that she was in love with this other man, so with the daughter's uh best friend's father. And then she went on to tell their children whilst they were on this beach. They arrived home and she officially left Andy. And Andy said the pain that he experienced was unlike any other. His whole world fell apart. And three years on, he wonders if he will ever find happiness again. Their children refused to have contact with the man that is with their mother.
