Full Episode
Hey, what's going on, everybody? Welcome to the Daily Eye Show. Happy Friday. Today is November 7th, 2025. And I'm joined by Andy and Beth and I'm Brian. Yeah, I see it on there, Beth. And I appreciate you guys being here. If you just happen to find this or whatever, then, you know, just know we do this show five days a week at 10 a.m. Eastern, 7 a.m. Pacific.
Um, we'll be doing this now for almost, uh, I think 600 shows. Is that right? We're in the five hundreds right now.
Yeah. We're in the five, five, five eights.
Yeah. So we're like, we're like two weeks away from show 600. So, uh, rocket and rolling. I'm still to this date. We have not missed the Monday through Friday. Somebody has always been here to carry on the show. Uh, some close calls along the way, but, uh, we've always made to make, may manage to make it happen. All right.
So as always, or as we've been doing, I guess, for the last month or so, we're going to jump into some news topics and then we got some segments we want to get into as well. So with that being said, I don't know, Beth or Andy, what's the what's the top news topic for you today?
Not the top one, but one that I think everybody's interested in, and that is Elon Musk. You know, we have to watch Elon Musk because he's the wealthiest person in the world and soon to be, you know, far beyond the wealthiest person in the world. In this past few days, the shareholders of Tesla voted with 75% of the vote, and I'm I have a proviso on that in a moment.
But 75% of the vote, they authorized a $1 trillion worth of additional Tesla stock for Elon Musk individually. $1 trillion. But it comes with a bunch of requirements in order for him to earn that stock. He has to do some pretty impressive things, including I think one of them is there have to be a million Optimus robots sold.
But that's not a huge number, really, when you think of how many households and or businesses could use an Optimus robot. So that's likely to happen. And then there's a bunch of other things.
Now, the proviso about the 75% was that by moving to Texas, Elon made it possible for him to skirt the requirements that would be applied to a Delaware corporation that allowed him to vote his own shares in the shareholding. Right. So normally you wouldn't be able to vote for your own compensation package. Right. But in Texas, you can do that.
