Chapter 1: What did Aaron Rodgers say about his meeting with the Jets?
You know what, Mike? I am so far removed from sports that I have no idea what Aaron Rodgers said. I know the draft is coming up next week. I know it's time for Jet fans to hope. It's the only time of the year we have to hope. But I have no idea, earthly idea, what Aaron Rodgers said. I know he said he has not decided on whether or not he's coming back. Did he take some shots at the Jets?
Yes. In particular, Aaron Glenn. He said that what he thought was going to be a lengthy meeting that he flew cross-country, quote, on his dime, was a 15-minute meeting. And 20 seconds in, Aaron Glenn ran out of the room, got Darren Moogie, came back, He interrupted Aaron Rodgers mid-sentence and said, we're going in a different direction of quarterback. Wow.
Chapter 2: Why did Aaron Glenn decide to move on from Aaron Rodgers?
And the part that stood out to me was he said, well, why? And he said, because when I'm talking at the front of the room, I don't want to have guys looking at the back of the room to see what you're doing.
Yeah, he said that and he said, Aaron was like, you don't know me. And Aaron Glenn said, well, you don't know me. And Aaron Rogers said, well, that's exactly right. That's why I'm here, you know, to try and get to know you. Yeah, supposedly Aaron was talking to the GM And then Aaron Glenn interrupted him 20 seconds in and said, do you want to play football?
And Aaron Rodgers said, yeah, you know, I'm interested. And then Aaron Glenn said, well, we're going in a different direction. Oh, 20 seconds in. I love Aaron Glenn.
Yes.
Yeah. To what Aaron Rodgers thought were going to be a long meeting. It turned out to be 15 minutes. Yeah, they were going to move on. That's old news. I mean, the new news is what's Aaron Rodgers going to do? Is he waiting to see if Minnesota will want him? If their quarterback is not back from his knee injury, J.J. McCarthy, and how he's looking, though J.J.
McCarthy hurt his knee in preseason last year, so he's had a long time to recover. He should be fine, and they're going to want to go with him. And it sounds like he just wants to be with a team that's going to compete for the championship. And I don't know if he thinks Pittsburgh is going to be that team, being in the same division with Baltimore.
Cincinnati, to an extent, though Cincinnati has to really work on their defense, Cleveland is really out of the equation. So, I mean... He probably has, I would imagine, Aaron Rodgers until the draft, unless Pittsburgh takes a quarterback in the draft, but they don't want to start him right away.
If it's a Jackson Dart from Ole Miss, if it's a Shador Sanders, if he drops that far, if they don't want to start him, do they still sign Aaron Rodgers if he wants to sign?
Mikey, why'd you shake your head when I said I love Aaron Glenn? You're upset with Aaron Glenn?

Chapter 3: What are the potential quarterback options for the Jets and the NFL?
Yeah, but I understand a new head coach not wanting a quarterback with that kind of stature in his locker room just at the start, at the beginning of his head coaching career. I actually get that. You might spot it as a weakness in Aaron Glenn. He should be strong enough to be able to tell the locker room, hey, I'm the boss. I don't care if Aaron Rodgers is here.
But, Mike, I actually like it because imagine this. If Aaron Glenn can turn Justin Fields into someone that no one's been able to turn Justin Fields into – Then Aaron Glenn comes off looking really, really good. You have Aaron Rodgers, you have expectations. Now you might say, hey, my coach is afraid of expectations. Well, yeah, he's the jet head coach. I mean, that's what we have.
Yeah, and if you miss with Justin Fields, it's not the biggest miss in the world. It doesn't cost you a lot of money. But if you hit with Justin Fields, forget it, Mike. Exactly. Again, maybe it's the process we didn't like. Maybe Aaron Glenn could have called him and said, listen, I'm the new head coach. We're starting fresh here. I'm just going to start over at the position.
It happened, so we move on.
I can't believe Mikey A wanted another season of Aaron Rodgers. I can't fathom that, to be honest with you.
I didn't want a season of Justin Fields, is I think really what I wanted. I would have been very okay with a season of Tyrod Taylor. I would have been very okay with a season of Tyrod Taylor.
I'm still in the Justin Fields bandwagon. I still think he can become a good quarterback. So we'll see. We'll see. He's on his third team. Mike, I hope you're right.
I hope you're right, Mike. I would love to be wrong about this. It would make me happy to be wrong.
There's a lot of first-round reclamation projects out there that are floating around the league that some are hitting and some are not.

Chapter 4: How is Aaron Rodgers' future looking with possible teams like the Vikings and Steelers?
Yeah. Draft questions for Golik, though.
Well, my first question is, how does Mike Golik spend the draft? Like, Mike, are you watching all seven rounds? Are you watching all the picks or are you like first ten? I'm out. Well, first round and I'm out.
Well, this will be the first year in a couple of decades. I'm actually not physically working the draft, so I'll I'll keep an eye on it, basically. The first round, really, which is Thursday, Friday, you know, the second and third round and then finishes up Saturday. I'll keep an eye on it because I'll have to talk about it, you know, in the job after the draft. But, you know, I will...
I will basically pay attention to the first round and those are those are all the names that just keep getting recycled right and those are the ones you need to hit on but it's really the the guys in the third fourth fifth sixth seventh round where you find the gems you know there's going to be an all pro in that group by some team and that's just going to be good scouting you know uh
predicting what somebody will do from the college level to the next level. That's where you hit the draft. Your number one, your first round pick is supposed to hit. We know they don't always hit, but it's the later part of the draft. It's amazing. You get the first rounder when you can get him. But second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh.
If a guy is a second round talent, you try and get him as late as you can, maybe in the third round. If a guy is a third round talent, you try and get him in the fourth round. That's when the games kind of start to happen with the teams.
Right. So will you be gorging yourself because this is the first draft, you know, just for the first round? I understand what you're saying. And I'm the same way, by the way, like the middle rounds. It's just on the scroll underneath. Yeah. I'm not really if I see a name, perhaps I'll get excited about it. Right. But what are you going to do at home? Like, how is this going to work for Michael?
If Michael is watching, I want to go to Colin's house. To watch the first round of the draft, Mike. This will be fun.
Well, I mean, the first thing is I'll be in Arizona. Arizona. So it'll be earlier, right? So it'll be around dinner time, snacks on the couch, you know, hanging out. Maybe all the grandkids are here right now, but by then, just the one granddaughter will be here, Alex. Maybe I'll have her by. Maybe I'll be playing, reading her books while I'm watching the draft. That's probably what will happen.

Chapter 5: Who are the top prospects expected in the upcoming NFL Draft?
After that, teams don't really need a quarterback unless they jump into the back half, the back part of that round, even though Pittsburgh's 21, that's in the 20s. But I think it's then a choice of Tyler Shuck and Jalen Milrow. Then it goes to what offense you run, do you install, or that you have that has a quarterback running, involved in running plays, which Jalen Milrow can do.
Guy's an unbelievable athlete, but he has throwing issues.
Yes.
He has all the confidence that we had him on the show, Mike and I, down at the Super Bowl, has all the confidence in the world. And I loved his answer about, you know, about this and about hand size, this and that. He's like, I can throw the football. I mean, he's got confidence in himself, which all these guys should have confidence in themselves. But those are the five.
I think three at the most. Three at the most will go in the first round if three go.
Mike, I want to ask you about Travis Hunter. We'll get you out of here in just a second. But I think this Giant decision is so fascinating because you have a coach and a GM whose jobs are on the line, right? And you ask yourself, are they going to reach and take Shador Sanders because they want to show the fan base and they want to show management and
If he works out, hey, look, we have our quarterback. He's here. He's here for the future. And we took him. Or do you go ahead, move forward without him with Russell Wilson and put all your ads in a Russell Wilson basket?
The problem with drafting Shador is you're going to start Russell Wilson. I know. Right? You're going to start Russell Wilson. So why would you draft Shador if you're Shane or Dayball? I mean, if you lose with, you know, Russell Wilson – you're going to be gone. Somebody else is going to be coaching Shador.
How many times have we seen a team take a quarterback and then that coaching staff is gone the next year and someone else is coaching the quarterback? So I think they're going to, unless they draft Shador and say, we're playing him, we're playing him, we're getting through his growing pains, then if he starts to look good, Then Dayball and Shane can say, look, we're building something here.

Chapter 6: How many quarterbacks are expected to be picked in the first round of the draft?
Oh, yeah.
He had very, very soft hands. Very soft. Huh? Yeah, I prefer soft hands with my dentist as well. Oh, yeah. You don't want them in there rough, you know? So does your wife have to throw you in the car right now and force you to the dentist like you're a kid? Like, what is happening here?
Trick you like you're a dog. We're going to the dog park.
Are you now, are you someone, are you someone who in the last week, knowing you had this appointment started to floss, you know, to try and make yourself look better.
And here's the other thing. There's always the big brush right before you go to the dentist, the big brush, you brush your teeth in a way you've never brushed your teeth before. And it does nothing for you.
And you go into the cleaning and the person cleaning your teeth sees you bleeding at the gums already knowing you just scraped them.
You know what? Nothing's ever good enough for that person that cleans your teeth before the dentist. You could floss every day, brush three times a day, every day. Nothing is ever good enough for them. They're like, your teeth are filthy.
Sorry. Or they'll give you a comment with a but and how you can improve, right?
And I'll see you in two weeks. And they're trying to hurt you. Those oral hygienists are trying to hurt you. Yes.

Chapter 7: What is the 'Blind Rankings' game and how does it work?
We're very similar.
We're thinking the same way, but this is where he starts tricking us.
I know it.
It's coming, and then we're going to punch him.
Go ahead. Okay, the next one up is newly acquired Seattle Seahawks quarterback, Sam Darnold.
I got to put him at seven because I can't put him at ten. but I can't put him at four. So I'm putting Sam Darnold, At number seven.
What did you make of that, Mikey, by the way? Darnold to the Seahawks.
I hated it for Sam Darnold, but I love that he was in demand. But, I mean, there's no offensive line there. There's no Kevin O'Connell there who's going to make him shine. And he's got one wide receiver right now in JSN. So I didn't like the move for him. I think we're going to go back to Darnold is a bust. And I think it's more because of where he is, not what he is.

Chapter 8: How do Stu and Mikey A rank quarterbacks like Aaron Rodgers and Cam Ward in the blind ranking game?
All right. Fuentes, give me a slide. Cam Ward at 10, right? Where did I put Jaden Daniels?
You have Jaden Daniels at 4, Jared Goff at 5, Aaron Rodgers is 8, Cam Ward at 10. So you have 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, and 9 available.
1, 2, 3, 6, 7, and 9. I'm going to put Sam Darnold. I don't like this game, man. I'm starting not to like it. Ha, ha, ha. I'm going to put Sam Darnold at seven.
Seven for Sam Darnold.
At seven, yes. So I have Kim Ward at ten. I have Darnold at seven.
Yes, Aaron Rodgers at eight. If he hit me with a bunch of MVPs right now, I'm going to have to put one of them at ten. Well, here you go. Next one on the list, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen. Where do you rank Josh Allen? On our blind quarterbacks ranking list. Number two. Number two for Mikey A., Josh Allen.
I mean, who else does he have that's better than Josh Allen?
Mahomes, Burrow, Lamar, those are the names that you could put above him.
I think Josh Allen's the best quarterback in football. I'm going to put Josh Allen number one.
