Amin Elhassan 0:11
Alright everybody, give it up for Friday! Yeah!
Mike Ryan 0:16
Woo!
Amin Elhassan 0:17
I didn't show everybody.
Mike Ryan 0:18
Does this crew ever work together? Sure.
Amin Elhassan 0:21
We got Mike here. We got Tony. We got Chris Cody. We got Jeremy Tashey. We got Boy Bellamy. I don't know if this crew's ever worked together before. Oh, Dave. Oh, Dave Davichek, yeah, that's right.
Thank you, Roy.
Amin Elhassan 0:41
Live from the West Coast. What what are your Friday blue? Wha wh what what are your Fridays like, Dave?
Dave Dameshek 0:50
Uh that they're they're they're positively joyous when I get to spend them at least in the early portion of the day. I'm looking at you.
Tony Hinchcliffe 0:58
His wife must hate it though. Him waking up at five AM on the West Coast just like I in the meeting he's bringing energy.
Amin Elhassan 1:03
I'm looking for logistics here. Like how does it work? Give me the walk me through the preparation up until this moment. What did the Dave Damashek day look like?
Dave Dameshek 1:12
Well, I wake up uh in the nude. Um, and I like to spend the the first hour of each day in the nude. Just just just raw, you know? Um, to to get my thoughts together. I know, what do I what do what I do? What what kind of question? What do I do? I d I drink uh I drink coffee, I pee, and then I I sit down in the chair and then we kibbits about sports and otherwise. The most important sport of all The game of life. I'm excited to talk about it. And you know, um, that reminds me, I've heard a lot of noise this week that disparages Caleb Williams for taking a cart. A lot of golfers down there in uh your neck of the woods. What's what's the preferred mode of transportation when you're playing eighteen? Do you do you prefer to walk the course or do you take the cart?
Dave Dameshek 1:58
When did we become when did everybody ascend up to Mount Pius? Uh uh I assume on foot, because shame the devil that you would ever take a cart. I want more cart in my life. There are parts of Los Angeles where the affluent in the beach towns where people as the primary mode of transportation they just have golf carts. There are no golf courses around. They just drive golf carts around from restaurant to multi million dollar home and backed for food and otherwise. That that that that that's living. I'm sorry
Amin Elhassan 2:27
I'm sorry. Some people care about the environment, do not want to burn carbon based fuels, use an electric vehicle to make short distances rather than ruin the ozone layer. Maybe you should look into that, Dave Damasek.
Dave Dameshek 2:40
I would just drive around like this the whole time. People could yell out at me, like, Why you on the cart and be like, Yep. Say thumbs up, everybody. I'm Caleb Williams driving off. Oh, that that that's winning. That's winning. That's not that's not losing a game, a a half or your credibility as a starting quarterback in the NFL. That's winning as a human being, taking a cart around.
Amin Elhassan 3:00
Do you do it with or without a towel over your face because you're in so much anguish?
Dave Dameshek 3:04
Well, I'm the question is do you do it with a driver or do you drive the cart yourself? 'Cause if you're on a cart but somebody else is driving it for you, I mean that's a lap of luxury.
Amin Elhassan 3:13
Thurston Howells type stuff right there. That's right.
Dave Dameshek 3:15
That's right.
Amin Elhassan 3:16
Mike. We're on the fronton tonight.
Mike Ryan 3:19
Big one against the Devils. I mean, it's always a big one because there's so few teams. But uh we shame the devils. That's right. Um we're still we're still looking for our first win on the year. Uh weird uh I don't I don't know exactly how it's written in the rule book. Apparently some matches are five sets, some matches are six sets, and uh the way that you know that is uh, you know, you don't. Yeah, you just don't. So like the first match of the season Um we lost a five setter and would have loved a six set with an opportunity to tie. We didn't get that opportunity. Then the second match of the season, we won in five sets, but it was a six setter. So then we're going to So then we dropped the six set. So we have a draw.
Mike Ryan 4:03
So we're still looking for our first win of the season. As you know, everybody here knows.
Amin Elhassan 4:08
Yeah.
Mike Ryan 4:08
The worst thing you can do in highlight is finish second because it's the worst spot to draft in.
