How is it that there were six different explanations for why we got into this war and six different explanations for what our objectives were before we decided to commit the most serious thing that we have, which is our people, to an unwise war? At the end of the day, that is not a debate that the that the Republicans want to have, because a year ago they turned the Congress into the Russian Duma. Right. We don't have a Congress today. We have a majority party in the House and the Senate that is going to do exactly what Donald Trump tells them to do. And the dynamic is not hard to understand.
He's right about that. Thank you, Andy. He's completely right about that. But what are the justifications so far for this war that it was a regime change? But no, it's not a regime change that someone the reports were that perhaps it was someone who had a, you know, a fatwa, whatever you want to call it, that they were going to go after Donald Trump. And then that has not been proven that there was an imminent threat from Iran. The intelligence shows there's no imminent threat from Iran. The only thing that we know is that they are telling us, and that's what Marco Rubio told us the first day at least that he spoke about it. I think this was on Monday after they had been bombing Iran for two days, Saturday and Sunday, that they had to go in and do a strike because Israel was going to strike Iran and therefore we needed to get in on it.
All kinds of excuses. None of which makes sense. And then we get Caroline Leavitt yesterday basically saying the quiet part out loud for Donald Trump and the administration. Here it is.
