Thank you so much. You know, I'm doing great. uh realizing we were able to win this primary with 66% of the vote. We had more people uh who went and casted a ballot for us than our Republican opponent. Uh I feel really good about where we are and the work that is happening here in Tennessee and across the South. It's it's it's a good time. And we're in the fight for our future, we're in the fight for our lives. And it feels like people recognize that black turnout was up extremely high. We're just seeing a lot of a lot of growth and potential
Yeah, well, a lot of folks have been asking you, Don, when are you gonna get Justin Pearson on? We're trying. And the reason I said Eastern time is because you're he was supposed to be on yesterday. Well, guys, we tried to get him on on Friday. He was very busy. We un said we'd rather have him on Monday when he has more time to discuss, and we wanted to have him live. And then, as look, it happens all the time, but people get central and eastern mixed up. Those are the two really time zones. Usually when people are out on the West Coast, say no to say Pacific.

Or whatever. But um anyways, he's here now. So, sir, how do you feel about um first of all your chances? I imagine you think your chances are good, right?
I mean, they rigged the map thinking this was a plus 22 Republican district, uh, but maps don't vote. People do. Uh, and what we are finding is people are energized, they're fired up, and they're wanting a different vision, a different future for Tennessee and District 9. But our job is to raise money and it is to make sure that people volunteer and go and help us to win this campaign. It's not gonna happen just because we wish for it. We're gonna have to put the work in, but there's no one working harder than us. We've knocked already 30,000 doors, made over 20,000 phone calls. That's what it's gonna take uh to win this November. And we're building the team to be able to do that, uh, which has given me a lot of courage, a lot of hope about the future uh of our campaign.

There's a lot going on here. So um again, t congratulations. You said we the people, this isn't gonna be about turnout. You had the turnout. You said they tried to rig the, you know, the election, but the people still showed up. Why do you think it's that why is it the energy uh uh available in Tennessee? And is it available around the country?
I think it's available in Tennessee, particularly in in Memphis and Shelby County, because we experienced the worst of the Cali decision with our district, which was majority black, being broken into thirds due to Republicans wanting to give Donald Trump one more seat uh in his very slim uh and narrow majority uh that the Republicans have in the House. They're literally trying to cheat and steal this election. Uh, but people don't want that. Uh they want their votes to be counted, they want their voices to
