Well, there are three things that I'm really concerned about. I'm concerned about a lot, but at the top of the list. Number one is free speech. In peril right now. Number two is... Well, it's the First Amendment, really.
It's freedom of speech, freedom of the press. I have said I believe that we are in a dictatorship right now and we are in a recession. They won't tell you that. The conservatives, the MAGA folks get mad when I say that. So that... This whole idea that I've been really going on about and that I'm going to, sorry, I don't know why it does that. And that I'm going to discuss, I've been discussing a lot, is this sort of fast tracking of white South African farmers into this country. What that means for farmers in general and especially for black farmers and the history of racism with farming. That is problematic. And of course, the economy. First Amendment, immigration, the economy, right? Those are big, big, big deals.
And we're going to discuss them in a way that you won't hear it discussed. I was going over this show, guys, listening to the sound bites and the things that we want to bring to you. And some of it is just fucking infuriating. Like, they don't care. They don't give a shit about you. They don't care. They don't care. They just think that you work for them. They are the bosses. They can do whatever they want. They're playing right in our faces, and they don't care. They do not really care about us at all, and it should be concerning to you. Our lawmakers now have very limited, the folks who are at least trying to keep our freedom, our democracy intact and our First Amendment rights, they have very limited levers at their control, at their hands to be able to fight this.
They're trying. They may not be doing it in the best way that they know how, but at least they're trying. But I don't know. I don't know where we go from here. They only care about themselves as Beth Bear. Yes. So thank you guys for sticking with us. Thanks for joining.
