So it was a travel delay. Thank you. Okay. I know you guys, every time you're going to be like, where is he? Did someone pick him up again? So I I'll tell you my story, but I would, before I want to thank Katie and I think it was, was it miles teller that was on Taylor miles Taylor and then Monique Presley was on. So thank you. Right. George Monique. Miles and Katie, thank you so much. I really appreciate you guys filling in, stepping in at the last minute. So you guys know what a week I've had. A week and a weekend. This week has been like 15 years. So what happened last night was I got to the airport. We took the red eye, which is typically the last flight or one of the last flights or two. There's like an early red eye and then one that's a little bit later.
Okay. And so... We took the one that was a little bit early because I would get back in time in enough time to do my show, the 10 a.m. show Eastern Time. Because remember, we're on West Coast and it's a time delay. And so anyways, by the time I get on the plane, it's almost morning here. So we took the almost the almost the latest red eye. And when we sat on the plane and then all of a sudden we were about to leave and then we had to pull back to the gate. No, we had to pull back to another gate because there was some sort of what they say there was a leak or something. People started to smell gas or something on the plane. And by the way, this is like the fourth Delta. I don't know what's going on. I love you, Delta.
You're my airline of choice. But I got to tell you, I don't know what's up. The last four flights that I've had with Delta have been delays and it has not been weather. It's been mechanical. So I don't know what's up, but it ain't good. And I'm a loyal, loyal Delta. You know what? I love my points. I'm a diamond, medallion, million miler, the whole thing. And I got it because I lived in Atlanta. I worked for CNN. I traveled all over the world. And so I had this great status. But Delta, you've been doing me wrong in a whole lot of people. It's not good. I love you, but you got to get your shit together. I don't know what's up. And so we sat on the plane. They said they were going to fix it to bring the mechanics.
First of all, the plane was late. coming from, I think it came from Kennedy. The plane was late coming in for mechanical reasons. And then when it got there, for some reason, it had an issue. And so we sat on the plane and then they said, oh, it's going to be an hour until they fix it. And then they said, it's going to be canceled. And by this time, it was like one in the morning. But like, yeah, one in the morning. And by the time we all got off of the plane, it was like two in the morning. And then they said, well, we can send you to a hotel, but you can't get your luggage until 430 in the morning. It was just all kinds of craziness. And the person on the phone said, you can't you can't leave the airport because you got to get you won't your luggage won't be transferred.
And then finally, the woman says, yeah, your luggage is going to be transported. Long story short, I should send let me send this to you, Andy, because this is what this was my evening. I didn't even think that I would show this, but I am going to show it to you. Share.
