They are really in deep shit, and they're trying to do anything that they can to distract us. So to quote my friend Aaron Ruppar, it is like Watergate, only in this version, Nixon directly mails the tape to Woodward and Bernstein.

No, for sure. I think that if Joe Biden was the president right now, or if really almost anybody except for Donald Trump was the president right now, these people would very likely go to prison or at least face some sort of consequences. But as you said earlier, this is all about shifting the blame. This is about suggesting that this guy from the Atlantic just decided to hack their war plans group chat. And I don't see anybody facing any sort of consequences under the Trump administration.
