So the person that they have in custody. is from, well, they caught him in Pennsylvania, in Altoona, Pennsylvania.
Minutes ago, the NYPD and the FBI arrived in Altoona, Pennsylvania. As investigators are looking now to interview the suspect in the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, the suspect was arrested on gun charges at a McDonald's in the central Pennsylvania city after an employee recognized him and called police. He went to the University of Pennsylvania and studied computer science. Also reportedly was the valedictorian of his elite prep school, the Gelman School, which is in Baltimore, Maryland.
