Um well it depends a little bit on um I mean I think she's much more pragmatic than people give her credit for.
Okay. Um Joey, I'd love to start with you. And I and I want to go back to what Hassan Piker said. And I think President Trump is exactly right that he is uh a distraction, an unwanted distraction probably at this point, but he seems to love being in the limelight. He's doing big long interviews, despite the fact that it may have a negative impact on some of the Democrats that he says he wants in office. But this phrase really stood out to me. When he talked about Iran, he said they have a right to defend themselves. Regardless of their domestic policies, which I would point out include slaughtering tens of thousands of their own people in the streets, squalor, no economy to speak of, killing gay people, zero rights for women in Iran, and chanting death to Israel with the intention of annihilation and elimination of Israel and the United States.
But he says, regardless of their domestic policies, they should have a weapon.
Yeah, I agree with him in the sense of my assessment of Iran is regardless of its domestic policies. Doesn't mean I don't have sympathy or empathy for people in Iran, but I care about the people in the United States, in the United States citizens stationed abroad. And it's Iran's actions against its neighbors in the region and against us specifically for, I don't know, the last forty years that allows most Americans to support taking action against Iran. Now, this w current war and where it is, a lot of people have questions. gonna affect the midterms and you know President Trump for his uh to his credit I guess believes that a change that is lasting has to withstand some arrows and that's where we are right now.
But when it comes to Hassan Piker, it's easy to laugh him off as like a radical. But what he's doing is he's taking radical ideas and making them palatable.
