What is the Good Glow’s approach to wellness and the role of the daily supplement?
Welcome to the bonus episode of The Good Glow. This season of The Good Glow is brought to you with thanks to Centre Multibiotics Complete. If you've listened to the podcast for a while, you'll know I'm always trying to make wellness less complicated. There was a time when I believed I had to do all of the things all of the time, but these days I'm much more interested in the habits I can actually stick to and that work for me. The big thing is when I can understand why I'm doing something, I'm far more likely to keep doing it. Centra Multibiotics Complete is part of my morning routine. It's a daily food supplement that combines 18 essential vitamins and minerals and 18 scientifically proven strains for my gut in one capsule.
It even includes vitamin D for normal immune function and vitamin B12 to support energy release. One capsule once a day. I don't overcomplicate my days, but looking after myself is a huge priority. For me, it's the little things I do consistently that make the biggest difference. You can find Centrum Multibotics Complete in Tesco, Dunn Stores and Boots, in-store and online. So welcome to the bonus episode. Today we're going to talk a little bit about my podcast on Sunday about the Lindsay Clancy case. And obviously this is a hugely sensitive topic and I guess I was following the case for a while and I really felt like I wanted to cover it on the Good Glow. I wanted to do the story justice. I wanted to share about my own mental health journey and provide a space for other women to feel safe.
And I'm just very aware that the Lindsay Clancy trial is not content. It's actually somebody's life. And so many people have been deeply affected by it. So it was important for me to really hold that safe space for people and for the podcast to come across in the right way. And I spoke to you, Jamie, a little bit about my decision to cover it and calling Claire Solon in and all of that, everything that went along with it.
Yeah, I had a good listen to it when I was out for a run on Sunday, which is for me, you know, a really good space where I've got thinking about nothing else, but like fully focused on the pod. And I think you guys did a brilliant job, but it's obviously a really sensitive topic and you know, you handled it really well. And I think it was great to get both you and Clare, because you guys have these discussions anyway, like, you know, you guys were talking about it separately yourself. So you have these discussions naturally anyway, and I think it was really important to then sort of, I guess, unpack it a little bit and talk about, you know, your read on the whole situation.
Yeah, I have to say, I just wanted to just read out, I hate, you know, reading out messages on podcasts, but this one was really, really touched me. So it was from a friend of mine, a member of Team Good Glow who comes on a lot of our trips and she shared her story with me, which I obviously won't. read out. But she said, we all need a Clare Solon in our lives. You're so lucky to have her to call on, so wise and so non-judgmental. And I guess coming from Clare's point of view and, you know, she has chosen not to have children, but for her to be so understanding on the podcast and to hold space for, you know, sharing my story on motherhood and I thought it was so lovely and I guess it is so important to find people in your life that you can open up to and that won't judge you and just listen.
It's not about fixing people all the time and I think when they say like, what do they say? Women are from Venus and men are from Mars because I think men try to fix the problem whereas women can hold space for a problem. And you, you're a fixer, right?
Yeah.
yeah you're right like men are fixers but and like maybe I'm more of a fixer as well because like of everything that we've been through together for the last whatever 12 years like we've had many life challenges so you know you kind of maybe your default goes into like fixing mode and maybe even more so with me but yeah no Claire and you have a great relationship and to be able to have those conversations and be really open and also for Claire Claire is so wise and like um
