It was unbelievable. The most fun I've ever had broadcasting in the summer in my life. I thought Fox did a great job. And but because of that, it was, you know, June, which is often a time to take some time off after the NBA finals. Uh everybody worked every day, should have, and is glad they did. But I'm uh I'm I'm soaking up some of my last um days off of the year 'cause obviously football season everybody works at every network.
So, but it is now getting to the point where uh I am Jones and could talk about stuff. Uh first thing I wanted to address, I thought was kind of interesting, was you know, the USC home crowd, nobody went, bunch of excuses. One of the things I learned twenty years ago when I started working at the other place, because I was such a huge fan of college football, is how many people in the building at that time twenty years ago at the other place They were pro sports fans. They loved the Yankees, they loved the Knicks, they loved the Red Sox. They didn't pay attention to college football. Like at all. And a lot of them were from New York and Boston and Minnesota and Philadelphia and big major American cities.
And what I found was those were pro sports fans. A lot of them loved college basketball because they grew up in the Northeast and the Big East was the, you know, the conference of note along with the tobacco road and the ACC rivalries. But I learned that very quickly at the other place was that, you know, if you grow up on
