Dante DiVincenzo is reported toward his Achilles tonight on that famous negative step that has claimed so many players over the course of the last couple of years. Really bizarre trend to all four guys who tore their Achilles in the last two playoff runs were the number zero.
Just obviously coincidence, but just a truly bizarre coincidence. The first thing that I do every time I see one of these season-ending injuries is I look at the guy's contract because I always get worried that it'll happen in a time where it could threaten a player's longevity in the league. Fortunately, Dante has another year on his deal, and that'll give him a chance to rehab.
