Jason Temp, Hoops Tonight Volume is joining us today. We have got the Giannis situation.
All right, let's break it down before we get to our Colin Wright, Colin Wrong on this. Jason and I will break this down. So Giannis, we got a draft coming up, and it's a really good draft. But here is Giannis, and there's always like a star player, right, like before the draft that's discussed. Well, Giannis is a three-year story that looks like it could come to an end. So Miami is interested, and Boston is interested, and it feels like both of us believe one thing, that if you're Milwaukee's ownership and front office and you can get Jalen Brown, that trumps anything Miami could offer. Is that fair? Yeah, I think every time you trade a superstar, you want to have that like the true headliner in the deal.
Like I remember, remember when the Lakers got Anthony Davis, they moved all the way up to number four in the lottery that year in the summer. And everyone was like, oh, OK, there's your headliner of the Anthony Davis trade. You're giving up the number four pick in addition to, you know, Brandon Ingram and all the other assets. I just don't think number 13 for Miami or Tyler Harrow rises to headliner. And right. The hardest thing is like, how do you sell your fans on that? And I get it. It's like, okay, well, we convinced the Lakers to pay for Kel Elware and the Pistons to pay for Tyler Harrow. And we got a couple of draft picks back. It's like Desmond Bain got four draft picks. Right. you look at all of these star trades over the years, they tend to bring back three, four draft picks.
