This is an iHeart Podcast. Guaranteed human. And we do a little Halloween sometimes. Does the Pope dress up? He winks on Halloween. He gets right up next to the microphone. I hear you can almost hear the eyelashes hit each other. You've never seen Italy so quiet as when the Pope gets up to wink on Halloween. Is there an epidemic against literature? More specifically, Black literature. I'm Jacquees Peace Thomas, and on this season of the Black Lit Podcast, we're outside asking why. They don't want a whole bunch of little Ella Bakers, Malcolm Xs, and Martin Luther Kings running around. And when you look at a lot of different cultures, they're like, we need to know where you came from. And considering this is Black Reading Month, the only real question is, what are you reading next? Listen to Black Lit from the Black Effect Podcast Network on our iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Welcome back to the Richard Sherman Podcast. Another incredible week of football coming up. Make sure you like and subscribe to the pod so we can keep delivering incredible content. The Seahawks. are playing the Arizona Cardinals. Now, before the season started, this looked like a cakewalk. This looked like, hey, this is going to be a game. The Seahawks can walk in here, you know, kind of just stay tight, keep it tight, keep it sharp, and walk out with a victory. But the Arizona Cardinals last week against the LA Chargers looked really good, Mitchell. Jacoby Brissett was sharp. The run game was solid, but their defense, their defense and their defensive line It is what was most impressive in that game. The Seahawks are going to play Drew Locke and not Sam Darnold.
Richard Sherman 3:12
So we'll see if he can build on what he did last week. He played a good game, was pretty efficient, didn't put the ball in harm's way, used his legs when he needed to. And I think that's what they're going to need from him if they're going to win this game.
Mitchell 3:26
Richard, there's no question about it. A lot of eyeballs are going to be on Drew Locke. I mean, here was a guy, again, he was a starter in Denver, had his opportunity there and ends up in Seattle. When he came into this game, you know, it looked like he needed to find his footing. The play calling looked as if he needed to find his footing as well. And then in the second half, when they were down 10 points, Drew Locke did his thing and brought this team back into the game. Do you expect them to air it out more with Drew Locke now that he's got a full week under his belt of practice and anticipating going into this game being the starter?
Richard Sherman 4:01
No, no, I do not expect them to air it out more unless they get behind in this game, which with the Arizona Cardinals playing the way they did last week, you know, Matt LaFleur has these boys believing, has them really sound offensively.
