welcome in what's right with nick wright episode 462 this episode of what's right with nick wright is presented to you by our dear friends at boost mobile a massive amount of things to get into today but i'm going to tell you on the front end two things one is this i'm a little a little resentful towards the nfl which at this point is probably my favorite sports league for once again land grabbing what previously was an obvious NBA time of the calendar. They already eviscerated Christmas to where that's just now a football day with basketball in the background and they put their football games on streamers so you can't even easily flip back and forth on Christmas between one game or another, which I think was intentional.
Now the beginning of June is just final stuff basketball stuff But all of a sudden this June 1st date which used to just be a salary cap designation They're like no, we're gonna make massive trades on it. Myles Garrett traded AJ Brown traded. We will get to those Technically, we should lead the show with those. It's the newest thing however It's the damn finals, so we're going to lead with the finals. Also, the other thing I need to tell you, Demanze is going to be out for a few days here and there for a number of reasons. He's got a project he's working on that's very cool that I'm excited for you guys to be able to see. But also, the other thing is this. So we just got, and by we, I mean me, I just got my year one revenue share check for this podcast because we've been with the volume for a year.
And I thought about the fact that Demanze is not what they call a profit participant in the show. He makes a nice living. I pay him for his work. But the extra little gravy on top goes to me.
