Now It's Monday, August 17th. It was a slow start, a good finish for them, at least a little bit of what we saw in that preseason matchup. They did have a joint practice as well with the Saints in New Orleans. So we'll talk a little bit about that. And the O-line issue, which at one point wasn't that serious, has become a little bit more serious after another injury in that game. And of course, we'll keep it real as we always do. But it started with Jalen Husky and it ended with Jalen Husky as well. Like listen, this is this is literally the first live reps going to the ground I feel like the Jaguars have had all preseason. Because usually even in special teams, they're taking up and everything. So this might have been a little bit of a wake-up call to be like, hey, we're not just uh hand on the hip anymore. This is actually live reps we're going here.
And then bang they went in and scored, you know.
Immediately after it and it was a missed tackle, I think, by Muhammad as well on the goal line or it was a it was a couple of guys. Right all guys. There was a couple people. I don't want to just name one name, but also the thing with Husky, if you mess up, at least he's got the speed to get back there and get the tackle. So that was important. Yeah. I mean he is a rookie. We have to give him some credit for that. But uh how do you feel about the backup quarterback situation, Pete? Because I know all of us we would we would appreciate watching maybe someone else. I know it's probably a good place to be where the backup quarterback is your biggest issue maybe, but it was it was tough to watch at points.
I mean, it's a helium balloon. I mean that's what he is.
