So, um, you know, just want to continue to create the competition in the room and um I I thought watching some of the stuff he did last year, uh when he got some ops to go play, uh thought he showed some signs of um, you know, being able to spread the ball around to different spots on the field, has some arm talent. Um, you know, I liked him coming out. uh of Texas. I think Sark does a really good job with with quarterbacks. Um and uh, you know, he's a young player that you can, you know, kind of pour into and see what that looks like as we can go. And so he's obviously having to get up to speed right now. Um, you know, wanted to make sure we kept Nick as well here in terms of like hey, week one, what does that look like?

actually in in OTAs when you just saw 'em like hit bags, like really early on when we had no pads on, no nothing, you could just see uh uh an explosiveness, um twitchy, loose, just some natural pass rush skills that uh you know, it's a knack, it's a feel. Um some guys have it, some guys it takes a little while to to get there. And um we were really excited about getting them in here uh post-draft. And then obviously, once he got into some of the preseason games and you started to see it, we were seeing it in practice, but um maybe not to the extent like BJ was obviously having a really good training camp and did some really good things, and so he was still eating and taking. making a lot of those reps with the twos.

And so um once Brian got some ops in the preseason, got into some of those moments, um, you know, need to continue to see it versus obviously better competition, but uh pleased with where he's at and and think he can help us as as we go throughout this season.

the Rusher Brian and we'll call BT BT. That'll help me. Um No, you know, I think uh it's a it's obviously sometimes a good problem to have. It's on the understanding of these guys know that every every one of them is gonna have plays schemed for them. Right? There there's no question. Um All those guys will have that. And then it's just within the play, within the progressions, within the alerts, um, they're gonna have to eat as well. Like on the plays that aren't designed to them. Are they winning on the backside? Are they winning as the number two or three guy in the progression? Um, to where Trevor can can trust to be able to move on, uh, say a play is designed for Parker, but BT's on the backside of the concept, like he's gotta go run that route like he's gonna get the ball.

Right. And I think that's the good thing about the group all being uh talented and having their own roles is within any given play, especially the way Trevor scrambles Every eligible is alive. Like every single one. It can't just be all right, hey, number one's open or not open. Um the play sucks. We have got to be able to progress. We've got to be able to scramble and run around. Um, and I think all three of them specifically have put some really good stuff on tape from spring to now. And the trust and reliability uh factor with Trevor. And those guys is on a good in a good place. Um, and I'm excited to see BT roll and and see that next level of um confidence continue to show, right?
