Trevor, how do you balance last year's success against Denver with the reality of both teams being at least slightly different this year? I mean, I think just for the value it is of watching the game and seeing what they did against us defensively and seeing what, going back to our plan and what we did and taking information from that. Beyond that, it doesn't, I don't really, put too much stock in it. It's two totally different teams. I mean, even if a lot of the players are the same, every year is so different. And every game, I mean, it's just you got to go show up with your best for three hours on Sunday. And so I think it's just looking at kind of the structure of the defense and all those things and taking it for what it is.
It's just another game that we can use to watch and just kind of see what they want to do. How did I watch the game? I was watching with some of the guys on the team, actually. Ross's 30th birthday. So we went over to his house. He had a couple of guys over, so went over for a little bit. Went home around halftime, but these games are so late.

bit of both. I mean, watching with some of the guys, it's like we're... talking a little bit and it's obviously Ross's birthday. So I wasn't like holding the remote, rewinding all the, all the different pressure looks that Denver was doing. But when I got home, I did a little bit of that. It's like, you see different things and just seeing how the Chiefs on offense are playing. You see Pat might throw hot or something like, okay, what made him hot? And you rewind it and you start looking at it, but definitely takes more time. Like you can't always from the TV angle, see everything like you would if you were watching the tape of it. So obviously watch the tape of it after we got it on our, you know, in our system.

yeah that's a good question I mean I think there's always something like growing up of like rolling out right and left I remember I've always had, and even in college and now, you always have coaches that are like, they want to do plays one way, going to the right, moving right, because it's easier, like you said. And so that's always something I've worked a ton is going left, because I would always be like, no, I can do it to the left. We can do it that way, too. So that's something I've worked a lot. And I think just from a mechanic standpoint, sometimes it's easier to rotate. When you're going left, it forces you to, I should say, it forces you to rotate. So you get a little bit more torque and you rotate and get into the throw a little bit more.
Sometimes going right, you're already open. So I don't know, that's a little bit more of the mechanics behind it. So it can be harder throwing left, but if you get your body in position and you can rotate, you also can get some more velocity sometimes on it. So a little bit of both there. But yeah, I don't know. I do enjoy throwing left. I've worked it a ton. I think that's something that to be able to go both ways is an advantage for sure.

Yeah, I'm not sure. I'd have to ask our guys. I mean, I think more so if there's a big tendency for a quarterback, I'm sure defenses are looking at that, like this guy only wants to go right. That can change the way guys rush up front. So if you can do both and escape both ways, as far as rush lanes go, it doesn't make you as predictable. So maybe in that regard. performance Sunday, you've received an extensive amount of praise in
the media. Have you personally noticed a difference in the way that you're perceived over the course of the last few days?
Not really. Yeah, I just think all that stuff is funny because I've been through a lot of good and bad and it doesn't move the needle much for me.
