I used to be um I would think ready to go this week, I would think. Um We'll have to look at what it looks like in practice this week. You know, I gotta see what it looks like on Wednesday. It wasn't something that's um should be out, you know, more than this past game. We were kinda being smart with him this week. He probably coulda gone. So um I'll I'll get a better idea Wednesday what he looks like at practice.

Uh then second for me, uh through three games, how do you feel Trevor Lawrence is is seeing the field in terms of letting it rip when it's there and then taking the short profit uh when it's not there?

Yeah, I thought he did a nice job. Um, I think he has been doing a nice job honestly of doing that. I thought he took some check downs yesterday, especially the one to strange down the sideline and then looking at progressing um, you know, through his po through his reads like when the pocket allows is the touchdown to Jacoby is a perfect example of third and goal to go. the read started with with Parker and Strange and he got back to Jacoby who ran a heck of a route on the safety. He had pocket the the pocket allowed. He went one, two, got back to three and delivers a strike. And so um I I actually I thought uh Trevor played really well yesterday to be honest. Um you know we didn't get the ball down the field as much as we had been.

And that was something that we knew how they played. Like they played I mean hardly any man coverage at all. And they played a decent bit of of cover one prior to that. So we didn't really have a lot of the ops to push the ball down the field. I thought he did a nice job of of taking the profits, being able to control it. And then the the zero blitz throw that he makes on third and eleven to Jacoby uh was incredible. Uh I don't even know how he gets it. out to be honest. Um the the check down to Tootin off play action where you know he's getting tackled and he checks it down. I mean I I just thought he did a really nice job. He had very good command of the system this week and the in the preparation was there.

Um I honestly the interception was a kind of a crappy play call slash force just don't throw it kind of thing, but I I didn't think he had as many turnover worthy plays this week that maybe showed up a little bit in Denver with some of the missed ops that they had. Um yeah, I I've been I was pleased with him this week.

Hey Liam, uh last week you talked a lot about the team's need to respond. Um and that kinda was your message. Now that the team responded, how do you keep that same energy, that intensity throughout practice? Could that kind of move throughout the rest of the season?

That's the NFL, right? That's the challenge in the National Football League that exists is um, you know, pretty clear message in terms of like uh Alright, guys, how we practiced going into Denver and how we played versus how we practiced going to New England and how we played. Like it's right there. It's so clear and obvious. Uh you heard a lot of the players speak to it after the game. And so, yeah, that is that is the challenge of the National Football League. Like, that is what we signed up for. That is the challenge. And we really need to continue to lean on our leadership and the and and the coaches to keep. Keep driving the message and elevating the standard. Um It's so that w we know how we have to play, guys.

Like it's pretty clear and obvious how we have to prepare, uh, which leads us to go play freely and fast and physical the way we were able to do so on Sunday. So um that is always the challenge in this league, right? Is getting back to doing it. Especially like you mentioned, or you have a bad taste in your mouth. You want to get that out, you got a quick option. The op's coming. You know it's coming on Sunday, so you're gonna get it. Now it's oh you got a good taste. Okay, how do we simulate, replicate, but also elevate the standard so that we keep building um week in and week out.
