Paizo and Archives of Nethis figured things out. We haven't covered that, but we're going to talk about it today. We're going to talk about the Lazy GM's Toolbox, the big section of Rise of the Lazy Game Master that contains 60-ish tools for you to use in your games. We'll show what those tools look like and how they can help with your game. Today's tip is going to be the sliding range of combat complexity. When we're looking at our RPGs, what are some of the simple versions of combat all the way to the super complex versions of combat and how we can kind of keep all of those in mind when we're thinking about the games we're running. And we're going to cover more questions in the Patreon Q&A all today on the Lazy RPG Talk Show.

I'm Mike Shea, your pal from Sly Flourish, here to talk about all things in tabletop role-playing games. Rise of the Lazy Game Masters Kickstarter continues. We are in the last full week of the Kickstarter just began today as of this recording. You can find a link down in the show notes to check out the Rise of the Lazy Game Master Kickstarter. Please check it out. Please check out the 36-page free single-click download preview and share the campaign with your friends on your favorite social media sites or forums or... Maybe you want to rent one of those planes that has the little banner on the back that flies over beaches. I would not be opposed to that. Perhaps you want to do some kind of Rise of the Lazy Game Master tuba solo in your local park.

I'm good with that too. However you want to get word out about the Rise of the Lazy Game Master Kickstarter, I would definitely appreciate it. Rise of the Lazy Game Master is the latest of the Lazy GM books. It takes the eight steps from Return of the Lazy Dungeon Master and expands them with eight years of new experiences, new ideas, and feedback that I've received over the years. The book also focuses on lazy campaign planning all the way from the time you're getting your group together and choosing what system to play and what world to play in all the way to the end about how to finish your campaigns. We also have 10 adventure types, different adventure types that are common in RPGs, how you prep them, how you run them, and how you avoid common pitfalls with those adventure types.

And the Lazy GM Toolbox, a huge toolbox filled with tips, tricks, and tools that you can use to help your game. We're going to preview that on today's show. Again, you can find a link to the Rise of the Lazy Game Master Kickstarter. It's going very well. We're super happy about it. It's a fantastic way to support the work that we do. It's a fantastic way to get access to a new book and to join the Lazy GM community by digging into this book and bringing some of these lazy principles to your game. Over on Sly Flourish, each week I have been previewing different sections of Rise of the Lazy Game Master, giving you more in-depth view of the kind of stuff that you can find in this book. Last week's article was on adventure types, the common adventure types that we often find our games.
