What is Dr. Rajiv Singh’s perspective on balancing AI with the patient‑doctor relationship?
You still need to have that. patient relation balance with emotion and the precision of AI. Yeah. And I think there should be a balance of both where doctors should use AI yes to get enhanced and more precise results, but to also discuss with their patients what the options are instead of AI just coming forward and saying, This is what it is, this is what you gotta do. So I think there should be a balance.
Dr. Rajiv Singh is a board-certified gastroenterologist, clinical educator, and medical advisor, serving as an adjunct clinical professor at Rocky Vista University. Through his work, he brings expertise in GI health and healthcare management to advance patient care, support medical education, and contribute to better healthcare outcomes.
So there's a lot of options for us to choose from and you know, just to save patients time if we could use this technology moving forward to choose a more sound treatment right from the beginning and give them relief from the beginning instead of wasting time and suffering.
How the AI can detect things that you know we couldn't see with our normal eye. So with AI it's

Hey, welcome back everyone to another episode of Living Your Legacy Podcast. And I'm your host again, Jay Slangan. Thanks for joining us here again today at the sunny Miami Beach Studios here in the podcast. And yeah, we get the privilege to talk to some of the best entrepreneurs from around the country, the disruptors, the experts from all different kinds of fields. And today, for our show, America's Best Doctors, we got a special guest who's at the forefront. of the technology in his field. So uh yeah, why don't you introduce yourself? What's your name? Where are you from? And kind of what doctor are you?
So my name's uh Dr. Rajiv Singh. I'm a practicing gastroenterologist at UC Health Colorado. I am originally from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and have been practicing in southern Colorado for almost a decade now.
All right. I I had the privilege of doing your episode and it was so interesting because you are uh involved with a company that's kind of at the forefront of of what you practice, right? So tell us a little bit more about what you're practicing and then we can go into what you're involved in.
So I'm currently practicing gastroenterology and that is a very broad specialty as it deals with a lot of different organs with the with throughout the body and from your mouth, esophagus, stomach, pancreas, liver, and especially the uh intestines.
Okay. In your episode, you know, I heard you talk about the importance of drinking water, right? And, you know, I'm gonna throw that out there. Uh, it's something I got a problem with, right? So uh my wife's always telling me, Oh man, did you drink water? She it's great that she pushes me, but what kind of issues am I kind of may face in the future for not drinking enough?
So an analogy that I like to use, if you're if you're not drinking a lot of water, you're gonna form rocks. Think about the rocks in uh Arizona, for example. Yeah. And if you don't drink if you if there's no rain, you're not gonna have a mudslide. Okay. For all intents and purposes. So we're all water. And if we're not drinking enough water, we're gonna get things like stone, calcium buildup. And when I'm talking about stones and calcium buildup, we're gonna look at gallstones, kidney stones. We're gonna look at worsening atherosclerotic disease, calcifications, things like that. And those are never a good thing.
Don't they don't sound like a good thing, right? All right. So uh and what's your water drinking routine?
So I think the best uh the best time to drink water um is especially first thing in the morning.
How does AI improve early disease detection and personalized prevention in gastroenterology?
The thing is when we're sleeping at night, we do produce a lot of toxins throughout our body.
