What is the episode’s opening recap and why is the soft opening so close?
Thank you.

We enjoy all of your feedback, all your DMs. We appreciate you for sharing our content and for inviting others to be a part of our community. You can find us on all the socials. They will be linked in the show notes. And we're just going to jump right in because we actually went over a recap when Dr. Rich was on. So it's a great episode, guys. He is getting extremely close to doing his soft opening. It's a good episode. And if you are in the middle of building your own startup or thinking about whether this is right for you, make sure to tune in.
Hi, Dr. Rich. How's it going?
Yeah, I'm good. How are you?
I'm doing well, thanks. And we have so much stuff to get caught up on. And this is the grind right now. So we're just going to jump right in. But we are going to start with a this or that because, you know, that's how we roll. You ready, Rich?
Ready.
Coffee before the huddle or during the huddle?
You said coffee?
Yeah.
I started drinking it before the huddle, but finished it during the huddle.
Gotcha. And are you a fix it yourself or call someone immediately?
Call someone. Oh, if it's outside the mouth, I'm call someone. If it's inside the mouth, I fix it immediately.
Nice. And do you make the bed every morning or leave it?
Make it.
And are you the first one in the office or the last one to leave or both?
I'm more often the first one in the office than I am the last one to leave.
Okay, nice. And for me, I have coffee before the huddle, coffee during the huddle, coffee all day long. Just give me all the caffeine. And for sure, I am calling someone to fix something. I don't know anything about how to fix anything. Actually, Colin is my fix-it girl in the office. So when something in the chair, like the suction or the hose, if there is a part that needs replacement, Colin is my go-to gal. So she has many talents. And make the bed every morning. I think when the bed is like your primary thing in the room, if it's not made, it just looks gross, right? Yeah. So you got to make the bed. And I am definitely not the first one in the office and I'm also not the last one to leave. So. I'm usually late for huddle, which is not a good way to start the day.
I always apologize to my team. Like, don't be like me. I'm yeah. Anyways. Okay. Rich back to you. So we have, do you want me to just quickly roll with what we talked about last time? Just to recap.
Yeah. I don't even remember where we left off. Sure.
All right, so we talked about how your herringbone floors got done. Your parking lot partially got redone. Turf was going in outside the break room and furniture delivery was scheduled. You're equipping six ops to start. You have your scanners and handheld x-rays are still incoming. You're working, or you finalized your supply master list and you're placing those items. You hired two full-time admin, both former assistants. Is that correct?
Yes.
Okay. And then you have your clinical team starting the week of recording. Wait, did I read that correctly? Clinical team starting?
They started last week.
Oh, nice. Nice. Oh, I can't wait to hear how that's going. And you are training at the Bank Conference Center where you're at now. Let's see. So you started already training on workflow, CBCT, x-ray units and scanners. And it says that your soft open targeted week is July 13th, which is next week. Wait, are you opening next week?
I wanted to. And the only thing that's holding me back is supplies right now. I just don't feel good about everything being in on time because we've had some delays with that. But yeah, we've had... A lot of, you know, you got to celebrate the wins, right? But we've had quite a few setbacks these past two weeks and everything's in the process of being fixed or, you know, finding a solution. But it's just one of those things when you're building an office, you have your ebbs and flows, like everything's going smooth for a couple of weeks and then you have some setbacks and you got to...
