Chapter 1: What special event is taking place at the Baseball Card Castle?
Only if they win. Welcome back to a Donnie Football Friday. It's been a very special Friday here at the Baseball Card Castle in Cranberry. General Patton, Jeff Patton, standing right in front of me. And we're supporting the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. Donnie Football to my right. Austin City Limits Bechtold to my left.
You can stop in, bring non-perishable donations, drop by to donate, donate online at pittsburghfoodbank.org slash need, or just text need to 50155. As always, we're just overwhelmed by the store itself. I mean, you know, I'm walking back from...
Chapter 2: How does General Patton contribute to the community during the event?
the food room over there, General, and there's these little things that you wouldn't even think to see because they're amidst a million others, and it's an autographed Pete Rose jersey or something like that. I mean, it's just unbelievable. All the stuff you have in here, you kick things off with a $1,000 donation.
You're a very generous man, a good man, and this store is, like I always say, you step in here, and I'm sure Donnie would agree, you step right back into your childhood. It's amazing.
That's the premise, right? We enjoy having stuff around us. Like I couldn't play in the NFL. I couldn't play in Major League Baseball. So like you, I have the second best job, right?
Chapter 3: What unique experiences do guests have at the Baseball Card Castle?
I get to talk about it all day, every day. I'm surrounded by 21 million cards, 100,000 autographs. And the greatest part of the job for me is when a grandma or grandpa comes in and they go, oh, Willie Stargell was fascinating. And you see them put down for a minute the pressures of the world and just talk about Ernie DiGiorgio for a minute. That's what makes me excited to do this.
I just had a man, Frank Garland. I think he's a sports... writing professor at Slippery Rock, just walked in, randomly handed me a Willie Stargell book and walked out. Is this your first time meeting Donnie Football? What's that experience been like?
It's the first time he's been here, but we've met a couple times. But it's still been a fantastic experience.
I've got Donnie's wedding present over there behind wraps. I think he's going to like that one, don't you? We have it concealed. He'll like it. What should I get Sarah, though? Now I feel selfish because I've gotten you a wedding present that's all about you. Although, as I said, if it puts you downstairs in the man cave, she wins, right?
Chapter 4: What memorable sports memorabilia has been shared?
So something else that I did have a question about, General, because I know it's all sports stuff. You have some music stuff.
back there i know you had a little like a little section with the beatles do you jump into that well at all or do you try to stay away from that no i'm a sports guy but what happens is i have hundreds of people approach me about selling stuff we average 200 people a week come through the front door and sometimes when somebody loses a loved one and they have a man cave full of stuff and 80 percent of it is baseball basketball football hockey that's what i'm after
But to be accommodating to a family, you just take it all. And I will say that the Americana stuff is interesting, right? And like if you notice how the store's footprint is laid out, it turns black and gold at the beginning. And as you go deeper into the bowels of the store, it changes a little bit into other teams and or Americana things.
So it's not my primary interest, but it's cool to some people.
I saw a magical George Pickens jersey back there.
Yeah, how about that? If you wear it, you're late to everything. Well, what's really funny about that is you should see the influx that comes. You like that, Donnie?
I do.
When a guy gets traded, I still have people throwing Le'Veon Bell jerseys at me or AB jerseys, right? Because something that once was proudly displayed in their man cave is now not something they're interested in.
Wonderful to renew acquaintances with our friend City Limits. You should get a City Limits figurine. It would only weigh an ounce. That's it.

Chapter 5: How does the quiz show format work in this episode?
We talk almost daily.
What? What is? It would only weigh an ounce? Great to see you, General, as always. And you. Thanks for coming today. What are some of the coolest things that you've seen people bring in?
Well, I owned a 1968 game-used Joe Namath jersey one time. I wish I had that back. Had the crotch piece. I also bought with it the white Puma sneakers that he wore. Wow. autographed Joe Willie on the heel. There is a lot of Namath memorabilia around here because he was generous and giving it to people all through Beaver County. Did you ever give Ron any of that? Because he was a big Namath fan.
I've showed it to him.
The security cameras caught Ron running away with it.
In fact, I have a Rams game used Namath that I'll show you.

Chapter 6: What trivia questions are featured in the quiz segment?
A ram, name it.
Yeah. He only played three games as a ram.
I like that. Wow.
So I'll show you that before you leave. Well, General, we just appreciate everything that you do for us. You literally roll out the red carpet. There's a red carpet on the way in. And I've never seen a person unhappy in here. I'm serious. Everyone who walks in here is happy because how can you not be?
It's literally my goal is, right?
merchandise is stuff that comes and goes people we invest in people not stuff you know like it's there'll be another thing that comes in people are above that and that's why it's an honor to be involved with feeding people because this stuff's what we do but not who we are yeah so it's an honor to be involved you still got some time if you're listening come on out and donate
You won't go wrong the minute you set foot in this place. It's the Baseball Card Castle in Cranberry, and it's General Patton. Thank you, sir. We're going to do a little quiz show before my early dismissal. Thank you, gentlemen. Would you like to participate in the quiz show?

Chapter 7: Who are the key players mentioned in the quiz questions?
It might be unfair advantage. It might be. How about this? How about this? Me and Donnie each get one lifeline or two lifelines where we can ask you. Okay. You like that? Yeah, I'm in. Who designed this? You or Sean? Don't call me Seth Meyers.
So this is how the quiz show was originally designed. We can change the rules on the fly. Sean created the questions, Joe. But with you being in the hole that you're in, what I said to Sean is, we will surprise Joe, and I will team up with you to help you.
Then it's us two against you two then. Me and limits. Yeah, baby. There we go. Yeah, baby.
Chapter 8: What is the outcome of the quiz show and its significance?
I think you would want the general's help over mine.
I want you on my club. Put me with Donnie. Yeah. It's the general and Donnie football against me and limits. And, of course, if we win, it goes to my ledger. If Donnie wins, it goes to his.
I have a bad feeling I'm going to let Joe down now. Let's do this, Sean. All right, guys. I know it went so well last week, so hopefully it will continue.
Sean made it more difficult than the first time I took the SAT.
Hey, man, I give you credit for those questions last week.
I'm trying to bring out the best in both of you.
All right. Let's do this.
So who do we begin with? Donnie and General. Donnie, General, question number one. The Steelers enjoyed a five-game winning streak in this series between Pittsburgh and Miami between 2004 and 2010. Big Ben was the QB for the Steelers in four of those games. But which quarterback led them to the other victory during that five-game winning streak?
I know who it is, General. Charlie Batch.
