Yeah, he's still young enough. And maybe after his fifth visit with different teams, you know, this is going to be the place that he lands and is successful.
Man, was he great. For many years. And they had a shot. Various years the Steelers could have had him or Baker, right? For sure. Now, I think they made a pretty good choice with Rodgers. Don't get me wrong, but you're only going so far there if you don't have the team around him. We know that.
But Kubiak also, in 2019 and 20, Kirk Cousins put up monster numbers with him as the QB coach in Minnesota. 2023, he was the 49ers pass game coordinator. They go to the Super Bowl with Brock Purdy throwing 31 touchdowns.
He's had multiple quarterbacks.
Now, he's also a case study in you can't make chicken salad out of you know what, Bob. He was in New Orleans for one year as the offensive coordinator just a couple years ago. And was it last year? It was just a disaster because it went from Derek Carr to Spencer Rattler. He ain't going to look good with Spencer Rattler.
And then he was in Denver for one year, and it was the Nate Hackett disaster with Mr. Unlimited. So that pertains to me to a guy like Anthony Weaver, who may very well be a really good defensive coordinator, but he's in Miami without the pieces right now.
