As far as the timeline, I think, you know, you're just trying to wrap your head around each day and trying to give yourself a chance to play. And, you know, we win the semis, so give me another day or two to try to get back in there. But, you know, with these, it's different timelines for everybody, but... I don't know if I was surprised. I didn't really know what to expect. I hadn't really had this specific injury before.
So I've had people say they wouldn't be surprised to see him back sooner, of course, because he's Sid. But when the word minimum is out there, how can any of us be surprised if it's longer? And four weeks basically puts you at about two weeks left in the season, Bob. Can they hang on is the question. But you know this. that Sid will do everything humanly possible to get back in there, right?
Yeah, and there are some, like I mentioned to Jay and you, a couple of short-term answers if you want to. Normally, you get to this time of the year, there's only a week or so here you've got to make this decision, but there are players on bad teams who will be made available. Vincent Trocek is one of them, I would think, only because he went there with a different idea of how the season was going to be. They're in last place in the Metro. So I think they've already traded Artemi Panarin, so they may be willing to trade somebody else. And certainly the Penguins have enough draft capital to give to them if that's what it takes. He makes over $5 million a year, but he's 32.

So if they want to make a play right now so that they can better handle this next few weeks without Crosby, and then when he comes back, it's never bad to have a guy like Kadri or Trochek on a playoff team in addition to what you already have. So those are options, as are so many defensemen on teams that are not going to be in the playoffs. And that's where you have to, I think, start targeting.
