Well, we're so happy you're here today. And you're here because you have watched a new show that is very buzzy that I have not seen. And plus, you and I have a favorite joint new show that has just come out and we're both obsessed with. So I was like, no, no, Chelsea needs to be on the pod to discuss this.
I mean, last week you and Em were saying like, oh, we have a juicy recommendation and it was The Odyssey. But I This one is super juicy.

But first, I just wanted to give a little PSA about a show that has come back for season two on Netflix that I know a lot of people love so much they brought it back for a second season. And that is Ransom Canyon. Have you seen that show? I haven't seen it, but I do know it's like yee-haw romance.

It's a romance in a small Texas town, and the people love that, and I think we actually can't have enough shows like that. So Ransom Canyon, it's back for season two, came out yesterday, Thursday, on Netflix, and it's based on a book series, but Netflix has done that thing where they've kind of revamped it. So it's set in a very small town in Texas called Ransom. So that is where the whole – And there is a canyon. Yeah. So actually the name is very factually correct. And it's about these three like family, like dynasties in Texas, like who own all these different ranches and they're locked in control for like the land of ransom, that sort of stuff. Very like Yellowstone. Yeah, actually, actually, I would say this is maybe like a sexy, sexy Yellowstone.
Yeah, it's a, it's a less dramatic and intense story. Yellowstone.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's a small Yellowstone. It's like Yellowstone's like fun. Weird cousin. Weird romantic cousin.
Yeah.
But one of the reasons I first started watching it was that I love a small town romance. Me too. And I love, you know, like a family dynasty battling situation. But I watched it because I love both of these actors who are the leads because they've been on my screens since the dawn of time. And I think sometimes just team up people that we know are good, a good love interest, good on screen and let them do their thing.
Netflix is so good at that.
They're really good at bringing back people from, like, different, like, big shows or movies and being like, hey, you want to see these two people together again? Let's do that. So the center of the show, his description is a stoic rancher, and that's actually quite true, named Staten Kirkland. That sounds middle. Everyone in this show has, like, the best name ever. Everyone in this show is like, yeah, that is about a fictional town in Texas, played by Josh Duhamel.
Wow.
I love him. I love him so much. I feel like he's, like, that hunky, like, romantic lead that I'm always, like, I love him in everything he's in.
I feel like he's just been in, like, he used to be on that, like, Las Vegas show, like, decades ago.
