They're going to get swept by Philadelphia. They've scored no runs. Let me go to the good news first. These two series are going to keep the Phillies in the wild card. That's right. Yeah. I have enjoyed many Tony Kornheiser salutes all season, both here at historic NBT Bank Stadium and unbelievably in other locations as the littles know of our dumb promotion. I've had salutes in Buffalo and Rochester. I'm recognized in their baseball stadiums. I now even get emails from Ryan Mitchell, the voice of the Columbus Clippers, who wants us to schedule a cheesery night when the Clip Show is in town. I find it hard to believe we're about to have our fifth annual LaCheesery Night here in Syracuse. After five years, my staff still doesn't get it, but they love it. The Littles are getting restless, so I had to write to let them know we're still dumb enough to keep doing this.
LaCheesery Night, the fifth anniversary special, is taking place on Tuesday, September 1st. That's in three or four weeks. First is the dreaded Rochester Red Wings, the AAA affiliate of your Washington Nationals. This year, excuse me, we continue to have a hotel deal for traveling Littles, and there will be pre- and post-game soirees at Jake Hafner's restaurant. We will have $10 tickets for Littles. To use the code, we will continue to have on-field games and inside jokes that the other guests will not understand. For Littles who want to attend, there will be information posted to the TK Littles Smart and Funny Facebook page. At worst, she can show up at the stadium and use the code, the Lily Havmer jacket is a scam.
It's a great code to get the $10 tickets in Section 103 with the other Littles. We will have a few new tricks up our sleeve, and hopefully some bigs will show up. For a conversation I had via text with Dan Byrne, there's a better than 0% chance he shows up.
