What does the host say about the overall state of NFL free agency?
Okay, so, um free agency's basically over. There's still players getting signed sometimes, but we we we've gotten through the craziness, alright, and um there's a lot that's also happened since the last time we talked, you know, where I was yapping about not yapping, fucking screaming about Max Crosby. Hell, it was even that important that I had to make a main channel video on Max Crosby, so Yeah. Um what I basically want to do is just go through every single team and see how free agency has changed their team, their expectations for last season, did they get better or worse? You know, fucking yelling at some teams for making bad decisions. I think it'll be fun. So um yeah, let's just let's just go through every single team basically and you know, I'll I can pull up like the players that they um that they got just to make things a little bit easier for you.
Uh viewing wise, you know, that's what I do. I'm I am I am a content creator, believe it or not. So we're gonna start with the Buffalo Bills here and They had what I would consider to be a disappointing offseason for sure. Again, they're kind of in a tough situation where they can only do so much. But and I kinda I did make a TikTok on this where I called them one of the biggest losers in free agency and I do stand on that because This is not enough. This is not enough to make you Super Bowl contenders more than you've been the last like three seasons. This team peaked at the same time the Chiefs peaked, which is very unfortunate. Um I would say Josh Allen is playing more mature football than he ever has before.
Sometimes we don't talk about the fucking fumble. Versus the Broncos and the arm punts, but Anyways. The reason why I'm not happy with what the Bills did is 'cause like this isn't needle moving. I mean I'm sorry, DJ Moore is not a true X number one receiver. He's not. He's not gonna be Anywhere near prime Stephon Diggs. Um, he's like they did need to do something like this, but DJ Moore's-I just don't think DJ Moore is very good, man. I really don't. He's gonna have so many like infuriating drops that are gonna like cost them games. I'm not saying he's bad. He is still a good wide receiver, but Honestly, like I don't know. I feel like Luther Burden is just straight up like gonna be better than him by the end of next season.
And I love this for the Bears to get get him off the team. And yeah, I I just I don't know, man. I'm sorry. I don't think he's very good. And Bradley Chubb, I know he's still like relatively not old, but the dude is like the oldest young player in the NFL and Injury concerns for sure. I don't know, they really just they really just keep reloading with old pass rushers and like I don't know, praying a receiver works out. I just don't see it. I just don't see it. I don't think this team is gonna make the AFC Championship again. And now Excuse me. Let's talk about the Miami Dolphins for for a second. They kinda just, you know, did a whole lot of nothing. Uh, besides the Malik Willis tet deal, which is crazy to me, but I'm sorry, I just
Y look me in the eyes and tell me that Malik Willis is gonna like change everything for this team because I I I'm not seeing it, man. I'm simply not seeing it. He's he's waking three years seventy mil, forty-five million fully guaranteed, and I feel like you're just gonna sacrifice this guy for nothing. Like, what is he really gonna add to your team? I I I don't understand. Like, is Miami not just tanking next season? I really think they are, and Like why are you spending all this money on a quarterback is my thing. I feel like they should be spending that money on the offensive line, tank this season, get a good offensive line for next year, and then draft a young quarterback and try to develop him.
Because next draft class is the one. You don't need to be going all in now, so I don't know. I think Miami's easily gonna be a bottom five team in in the league next season. And I just don't think Malik Willis is gonna add anything, so that's I I can't say they're like losers, I just don't get it.
