If I remember correctly, you and AI were having some discussions about how angry various people were going to be about how late you were on the book. How's that going recently?
It is... I will say I received an email today with the word must in it. Cool. We're doing great. The language has escalated to commands.
Yeah.
We'll see if I respond to commands. You know, like API error. Sorry, ill-formed command. Like, we'll just see how it goes, but I'm getting there. Yeah.
Historically speaking, when we both have other really important things to be doing, we make very long Verge casts. So this is going to be a really terrific episode. I'm very excited about it. We actually have a lot to talk about. There's a lot of AI safety and open weights involved. stuff going on. Lots of questions about how we do AI in this country and in the world. Lots of gadgety stuff to talk about. Brendan remains up to stuff. Ariana Grande is suing some people, which we may or may not talk about. We'll see. But first, I have two bits of personal news that I need to share with everyone here on the Verge cast. Uh, piece number one is that I went to Target this morning and I bought the new low profile pop socket and the Oh snap.
And I am now deep in some real scientific testing of phone grips. Um, people have a lot of thoughts about these things. And what actually happened is I was like, the new pop socket looks good. And I got a hundred emails from people being like, Oh, snap is better.
