I knew it was big because season seven, that's when I watched a little bit and I seen watch parties starting to go up and stuff. And at that time I was in Gainesville area. So I was like, Oh, all those bars, the college town is like, Oh, they're doing watch parties. I was like, Oh, this is pretty big. People are really interested in it. But I didn't really have much interest into the show. I didn't really watch too much. I didn't really get any attachment or be like, Oh, this person, though, oh, they're moving like this, you know? I was always like, ah, if they put me on the show, I'll I'd do it, I guess, you know, but never was uh my intention to go on the show. Were you scouted? Were like you were scouted?
I was scouted and I thought that shit was a scam. Yeah. Pretty sure everyone has said that because yo, they reach out to Instagram DMs, you know, everybody gets rare DMs, you know. So you're seeing someone say, Hey, I work with some random casting page, exactly and then random casting page exactly in it.

It's just a random account. You start looking through the page like, how is this the biggest show? And this person has this account type. It's like it's not making sense. But did you respond right away or did you wait a few days? No, I think two people probably reached out to me in the span of like in the scouting process of them reaching on my Instagram DMs is probably like Over three months. Yeah, that was of twenty was we're on twenty twenty seven? No. So twenty twenty five, they reached out one time. I seen it and I don't think I'd done anything. Okay. And then that December they reached out again and I was like, Okay, let me go through with it. I BSed it 'cause I thought it was a scam. I was like Man, whatever.
They sent me a link. Let me send the video and whatever. Some questions. Yeah, I BS'd it. And then um I ain't hear nothing back from them. And then someone else reached out again this year, I think in January or February. And I was like, oh, I already um applied. This is another person. I'm getting the same text. And they're like, Oh yeah, we looked at the video and it was well, it was it was bad because you you be I BSed it, bro. What did you do? Do you remember what you did? I just had no energy. Okay. I had no energy. They asked me, What's your name? You know, introduce yourself basically. Thirty second pitch, I guess, elevator pitch. I said, Hi, I'm Corbin, 22. If you want me from Miami, I'll do it. I work out.
No emotion, no energy, no personality, no nothing. And then they're like, do it again.
And then um Fiji came. Once they gave me the call and I'm going to Fiji, I was like, oh, we're in it. We're in it. And then now you know we have that that you know, when we go to the villa, it's like, oh, are we gonna stay in a villa? Now it's the challenge, like, are you gonna stay in a villa? When are you gonna leave? That's kind of the the ups and downs. But
when did you find out you were gonna be a bombshell versus like being the original cast? And did you did you have an awareness of what that meant?
