Ep 1241 | Jase Offends the Robertson Family Group Text & He Doesn’t Regret It at All
06 Jan 2026
Chapter 1: What are the challenges of family group texts?
I am unashamed. What about you?
So welcome back to Unashamed. This is a crazy land in here today.
It is a crazy land. It's our last episode of the year, so it'll launch next year.
Yeah, right.
Because we're at the end of the year.
Yeah, we're at the end of the year.

Chapter 2: What poem did Jase write for his family?
We're about to have a little bit of time off for the holidays. Zach's got one foot out the door, but he's hanging with us. We had our Christmas celebration. Yeah, and we just had on the last episode, of course, was the –
new year stuff and we had dave ramsey and william becoming new star dave ramsey yeah the guy that jay says is gonna go places i think he's gonna make it jace i really do i think i don't know why that y'all are shocked that some people live in the wilderness they don't live on their phone or their computer they and they do stuff I'm out there doing stuff.
I knew all he had to do was give Willie that little crease, and then it was off and running.
See, if you want to know what the guy down here who changes oil in a vehicle, see, I met that guy. We talked.
Chapter 3: Can AI-generated sermons be inspired by God?
You say, why? How'd that happen? Because I went and got my oil changed. We had a conversation. I'm living, Zach. I'm trying to live life.
Zach, you're not living. Living in the real world, not the virtual world.
Chapter 4: What happens when humans try to play God?
That's good.
So we had our – I mentioned it on the last podcast, and it was kind of funny because Dave Ramsey was at our Christmas slash birthday celebration.
And then slash because we don't do it on Christmas Day.
We do it on Mom's birthday now. We started that last year, which I love that because it's more just about us being together as a family. We don't do gifts except for Mom.
Chapter 5: How do the major world religions connect to Abraham?
And I see what you have on your desk here.
I brought something here, yeah.
Oh, I'm familiar. And I caused a stir within my family. Look, Zach, the only group chat, I think that's the right phrase, that I'm involved in is with our family. Right. And with the podcast team.
And we sort of started this one as a way to kind of keep track of mom and dealing with mom. That's where this group chat started.
Chapter 6: What is the core truth presented in the Book of John?
Yeah.
Now, all the other attempts, they have a button in your phone for people that do stuff like I do. And so I want to bring this up. They have a button.
Leave the conversation.
That's it. Leave.
Chapter 7: What are the first and last questions Jesus asks?
You can leave. You can leave. And look, you know what I found out when I first started doing that? People got upset.
Because it says Jace left the conference house.
Oh, does it?
Oh, yeah.
Chapter 8: How does AI relate to the work of the Holy Spirit?
Oh, yeah. They know.
What's wrong with these people? And they're wondering why there's so much conflict in the world.
Did they add you back in?
It's basically saying Jace just said, I've heard enough, and I'm out of here.
I don't want my phone going off every three seconds with people using the little symbols and all that. I'm with you.
Because then everybody feels like they have to do a thumbs up, a ha-ha, a heart. I have no room in my life for that.
But anyway. It looks like we just found something we all three have in common. I don't do group text. I don't like it. I hate it. It's too much. It's the memes.
But like Jace is talking about, it's my family, or if it's something, you know, like there's one I do with the elders at our church. I mean, it's an important thing, so I can't just leave. Well, I'm in.
Oh, I can. I'm in it. Well, the worst part is, like, they'll say, like, there'll be some kind of information. Like, do you not look at the group text, the family text thread? I'm like, no, I don't. Like, I don't want to have something I got to monitor, like, 24-7. Half the crap you guys are putting on there is just, I mean, it's a complete meaninglessness. We all have the same problem.
