What was the worst travel mistake you’ve ever made?

Konstantina Irving 1:16
There you go. Listen to Bruce. All right. The first question from following up last week. What is the worst travel mistake? you've made. And we actually talked about this in our Facebook general group. in uh well, our Facebook page, Unlocking the Magic, and a bunch of you answered and they were kind of funny because some of them were got like somebody had said something about not checking their son's suitcase before they traveled and I was like, wow, been there.
Bruce 1:41
That is true. You just assume that they pack the right things and you get there and you're like, what the heck?
Konstantina Irving 1:46
Yeah. Stephanie said in the group, getting a super cheap off property hotel at Walt Disney World, that I can see can be sometimes hit or miss if you're trying to save some money and staying off property. Those I mean, some of those off property hotels really got us through some times being able to get to Walt Disney World, but I know that some of them are not as desirable as others. We've had remember one time we were we booked a hotel And it was like a really like spontaneous trip and then we got there and we looked at each other going, There's no way we can like there was trash everywhere.
Bruce 2:22
Yeah, I think it was in I think it was in California. Was it? It was c I was like that was like all right, we're canceling this one and we're gonna go check out a new one.
Konstantina Irving 2:29
It was thankfully they were so kind about let allowing us to cancel, but that's never that's actually never happened ever since. That was like the w a one time thing for us.
Bruce 2:38
I know what your worst travel mistake is.
Konstantina Irving 2:40
What's that?
Bruce 2:41
You forgot to put your luggage in the car one time and we got all the way to the airport and you didn't have your luggage.
Konstantina Irving 2:46
Why does this kind of thing happen to me?
Bruce 2:48
What about you just thought I put it in? I thought you put it in.
Konstantina Irving 2:51
Yeah.
Bruce 2:52
And we ended up getting to the airport. You're like, where's my suitcase? I was like, What do you mean, where's your suitcase? I don't know. Where's your suitcase?
Konstantina Irving 2:58
How? Like, how did I allow that to happen?
Bruce 3:00
I tried to drive all the way back to our house. I mean, luckily we lived pretty close to the airport. Drive all the way back to our house, get your luggage, and I still made it back in time.
Konstantina Irving 3:09
You volunteered. I didn't ask you.
Bruce 3:10
I know, but I felt I felt bad.
Konstantina Irving 3:13
Or like that one time where this was not I guess it wasn't my fault. Well, that time was definitely my fault, but w after that we were going on a cruise and you know how you need your passport while I was all you know, had my backpack, my suitcase. Now I double check and we put my suitcase in the or my backpack in the back of the trunk of the Uber that was taking us from our house to the airport and apparently it fell out. Nobody knew until we got to the airport and I was like, Where's my packpack? and Our neighbor was home and I texted them and I said, Is there any chance you can look outside like where did this
