Oh. What do you want? Hey everybody, welcome to Unlocking the Magic. You're listening to episode number number four five three. I got tongue-tied. I'm sorry. Had a long break in between episodes here. Well, we did Patreon episode, but I'm very much lost my my touch here.
I mean the holidays happen, you know, there's been a lot going on. But we're back. We're gonna do this episode today. It's gonna be fun. Like you said, we did our club UTM which slash Patreon episode. There was a podcast that went out over the last couple of weeks. It was just for our club UTM members.

Okay, whatever. Welcome to the show. We're gonna talk a mis m mix mash mash up. We're talking a lot about news and things that hap are happening in the Disney verse and universal as well. Lots of happenings this summer and excited to share our thoughts and talk to you guys.

So first of all I have to just mention cause in one of the episodes we did it was like travel news you need to know was talking about the carousel of progress closure. Untimely in my opinion because it it is in the thick of that Orlando heat. It it is one of those attractions, admittedly, like many people go in just for the AC. I think they do enjoy themselves, but let's be honest, like Well can you do it all? What do you mean?
Can you go in there to take a nap for the AC and to enjoy the show?
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
Yeah, I do all of those.
I wish they were able to have like a a cooling zone like that with some entertainment. Uh like temporarily while they could they just watch us I mean, that could be an attraction. Let us watch them redo it.

We but I go in there and I, you know, sometimes I close my eyes for a minute or two. I'm not gonna lie.

I can still I've seen it so many times. I can still understand exactly where we are in the show just by listening. So it's it's a it's one of those things where you can get all of that. A little nap in, a little AC and a good show.
There were crowds, of course, at the end of their the last show of the Carousella Progress, a lot of people, probably more locals too, getting over there to see the sh the show as it is for the last time. And it looked exciting. I had a little FOMO. But I mean, then I realize it's July in Orlando and then I was like, I'm good. Just kidding. Um, it's hot. Um, but You know, there's some photos circulating on the internet of Uncle Orville, who I'll ever I'll forever call him Uncle Orville. I don't know why. Just Whatever. But anyway. Up close and personal. There's some people that were able to take photos up and close to the attractions themselves and For whatever reason they chose to take pictures of Or of Uncle Orville in the bathtub.
For what reason?
Um, for their own enjoyment and just kinda It's not weird at all. It was Fourth of July. You know, you're feeling it. And uh it's a little awkward, I'm not gonna lie.
What is the status of the Carousel of Progress refurbishment at Walt Disney World?
But it was fun to see. I don't know if you saw. It's circulating. Did you see it? No. Oh yeah. It doesn't sound like you did.
Well like close up blurry photos of him?
You pretty much in the bathtub. A little weird. That is weird. A lot of people are Unfortunately kind of roasting Disney right now with this refurb, hoping that it doesn't become one of those Turn into what happened at Pirates of the Caribbean in Disneyland. They don't want any projections. They don't want their head those photos are circulating too, which kind of are funny, not so funny, but Oh yeah.
I think they yeah, they That's gonna be interesting to see what they do with this.
And a a lot of people if you read threads online, they just want to redo that last scene and Well th they should just
Take the first scene out, right? If they wanted to just make it more relevant today, take the first scene out and just scoot everything back a bit and then add one more.
