So I don't like rating things. Um And I honestly I have a lot of mixed feelings about this episode. Like I think There were some really interesting moments and and choices and story beats. Um And then they'll just like have Coralus being like So remember my wife, Renice Who I was married to? And we were wed? And had children? And now I have illegit you know, like just just like really banging, you know. banging the nail on the head. Um however, um I really I feel like this is the first kind of like non sequential or I mean it's sequential, but like non like straight storytelling episode we've got of a Game of Thrones thing, period. And I really appreciate that. Like it was definitely a change and a swing. And I don't know that it like a hundred percent worked, but I'm like
I appreciate that they that they tried something new and they went for it, you know?

I'll give it a four. Um, I think it was direction wise. I thought it was a really solid episode. I thought it got across perfectly the point it was trying to make and it felt very grounded in a way that I think sometimes the show can not achieve or just ignore like It was paying attention to little things, like we don't have enough tallow for candles, um, and there's there's rats everywhere because the rat catchers are dead. Like little stuff like that makes the show feel more credible and I think goes a long way with me because if there is one thing I get very frustrated with with this and G O T is when they just sort of like they're like, Ah, fuck it, like we don't have to care about the the the practical details of
of life in this world. We can just have people go wherever in whatever time it takes and do whatever. Um there were a couple of things that were less credible about this episode, the whole Tessarian situation is is annoying, but Uh yeah, I thought it was good. I I I don't know if I enjoyed it. I found it extremely anxiety inducing, which is what it is is trying to do, but it also made me like turn it the volume way down. I'm like, I can't listen to this conversation. I'm too stressed out. Um so yeah, good i but not terribly enjoyable, if that makes sense.
Yeah, I feel like um Both all of us right now kind of having the same feelings, but I feel like This whole season for me has been like They're pretty decently strong. Ish episodes, I think. Um but there's always just like Just weird little things that I don't know if it's Because it's just baked into the DNA of like Game of Thrones stuff or Or what um But yeah, I'd I'd probably give it like a three point five or a a a four, maybe. It is uh it's really cool to kind of just focus on one area for most of the runtime.
Yeah, I mean this is not an original thought, um, 'cause I've I've seen it posted places, but like It's being compared to like kind of the closest we we have gotten to one of George's POVs and I do think they actually capture that really well. Um, now obviously some of George's POVs and individual chapters are, you know, more successful than others. Um and I felt like this did feel like a little bit of almost like a Brienne slash Cersei chapter at times, um in like some not great ways, but like It still felt very
