Chapter 1: What is the main topic discussed in this episode?
This is a Global Player original podcast.
Amber, we're doing two activities on Tuesday. With five children, Emo. Yay! Sometimes I feel like I'm going to throw up. I thought you were doing a burp or something. I was like, I'm glad I'm not there to smell that. Sometimes I think it looks like half of my face has fallen down and I don't know why, but maybe it's just the way the camera is.
LAUGHTER
Okay, let's go. Let's go. Yuck.
Let me hear for some queer love, Emo. Emo you weren't at the last record and you know the way I always feel that you show vote preferential treatment yes no I edited this episode and I heard you slagging me behind my back I'm saying it to your face and a listener commented on Spotify and said the same thing used to happen with Spenny
I honestly don't believe. Yes, I will take that I would side with Vogue over Spenny, but that, I mean, who wouldn't? But I do think I am very impartial with you both.
Amber is full of shit, Imo, so don't, like, it doesn't matter. Like, Amber, why do you think Amber had friends and then when I found Amber's friends, they all wanted to be friends with me? Imo, no, that is cruel. Oh, I'm sorry, darling. Oh, goodness me. Well, it's whatever. You better do the bloody intro before fucking, um, Umo has a fucking apoplexy.
Hello and welcome to Vogue and Amber, the podcast. There you go. First time around. Listeners, you wouldn't believe how often I get that wrong. It shocks me. It deeply shocks me. We should have done bloopers of that yesterday. Apoplexy means a sudden loss of consciousness, sensation or voluntary movement. Typically. OK, no, it's oh, God, I'm so sorry. I take that back. It means to have a stroke.
Yeah, if you're if you're apoplectic, apoplectic. You know, and you just... Well, you could go apocalyptic as well, or you could go apoplectic, which would you prefer? I don't know. Apoplectic seems like a big deal, but apocalyptic, I wouldn't want to be around for that either, to be honest. Well, we might be, lads. We might be. TBC. TBC. That means to be continued.

Chapter 2: What experiences did Vogue have at the Cannes Film Festival?
LAUGHTER
Anyway, so we're there at Nespresso and I had a life changing moment, right? I have never had an iced coffee before this weekend gone because when my coffee gets cold, I'm like, I think it's the most disgusting thing in the world to have to drink. And that's what I thought an iced coffee was. So I was like, that's disgusting. I don't want to drink that. So why does anyone get an iced coffee?
Well, I was handed an iced coffee for a picture and I was like, I just, I was really thirsty. So I took a big swig of it. Well, my life is forever changed. Oh, my. Have you had an iced coffee, Emma?
Yes, I've had an iced coffee.
Now, I'm still learning. I'm still learning because today I ordered an iced coffee, but I didn't say an iced latte. It had no milk in it today. Not as nice. Emma, have you had an iced coffee? Yeah, they're fine. Well, I thought it was the most delicious thing I've ever had. I was going around telling everyone about iced coffees and asking them all if they'd had them. And many people have.
Anyway, sorry, back to Cannes. We went to see a movie with Benicio del Toro. No, not Benicio del Toro. What's his name? Ah, what's his name? Love him as well. Brilliant actor. He was in that No Country for Old Men. Really scary. Oh, Javier Bardem.
oh god he's such a great actor it was his movie also a bit of a ride bit of a ride well he's married to Penelope Cruz I love their love oh god she's an absolute ride have you ever seen her in Blow if you haven't seen the movie Blow oh my god Fantastic. I didn't adore it. I probably won't go and see it again.
I could see that it was nicely shot, but I felt that nothing really happened for the whole time. And I was sitting there and basically, obviously the security worked to the core for the weekend because... Two of them came. One sat beside me because the seat on the edge was free. One sat in front. Two of them, within about three minutes, fast asleep for the whole movie. Yeah, fast asleep.
And one of them was breathing on me. And obviously, I can't bear smells anymore. And his breath was, I was like, oh, I was going to die. But so we went to that movie and it was wild being on the red carpet. Like, Spenny and I literally thought that we would be just like, shoved up the red carpet because like, who knows us in Cannes? To our amazement, some people knew us in Cannes.

Chapter 3: How did Vogue discover iced coffee during her trip?
I don't really think I do. I'm not much of a dater. I never really went on too many dates with people. There was one guy that I started seeing, and I know this sounds really like, God, you should have gone. But he just kept asking me to go on holidays. And I was like, dude, I don't know you. Like, I don't want to go on holidays with you. And he was just really weird about it.
Like, and always suggesting, like at one point it was Dubai. And then it just was, I was like, I'm not traveling like all that way with you. I don't even know you. I know what a crazy date story is. Me going to Bulgaria for a first date.
Yeah, that is. There you go. I kissed someone. I didn't want to kiss them, but they kissed me. Sometimes you have to do it.
So you just stood there like this, Emma? Ah, sometimes. No, you just have to do it sometimes.
It was going to be too awkward. In a slug enclosure in a zoo.
I mean, when the mood takes you, the mood takes you. Was it a boy or a girl? I feel like it was a boy. Yeah, a girl. We're in with the slugs. Emo, come in here. I want to show you something really cool in the slug enclosure. Do you want to hear something mental me and Sven worked out through the day? Because we can never really remember. We are married nine years in June. How did that happen?
I said to him, we've been spending too much time together recently. We're going to, Joanne's been away. I'm like, when she gets back, this is over. I'm breaking away. I need her back. Okay. If you had to choose three ways to make yourself more attractive, what would you pick? Probably be a little bit smaller. Really? Really? Yeah, I'd be a little bit smaller, maybe three or four inches smaller.
I like my pregnancy boobs. And... Sometimes I think it looks like half of my face has fallen down and I don't know why, but maybe it's just the way the camera is. People are like, you look so well in pregnancy. And I'm like, people think I look better because my Botox is worn off. I'm like, no. Oh, natural. I don't know.
I feel like we covered this question when we talked about the, what we get done. Bluffs. I take it. Oh my God. Do you know what I did today? I did. I put it in chat GPT. What? I got a picture of myself and I said, what would this girl look like if she got a bleph surgery? And what did she look like? It wasn't that much different, to be honest with you.
