Chapter 1: What is the main topic discussed in this episode?
This is a Global Player original podcast. My feet, I'm going to have to take them off the ankles. You are dead meat the next time I get to London. He's like, that wasn't me. I was like, it was. It was either you or me and I know it wasn't me. Amber has left the group chat. Look at Imo's smug over there with her dad. Unbelievable.
Hello and welcome to Vogue and Amber, the podcast coming to you live from Our favorite place on earth, Center Park, which has nearly killed us today. Nearly killed us. And just so you know, I was a little forgetful, so I do not have my microphone, unfortunately. So if you realize this sounds a little bit different, that is why.
I would like to excuse my very unprofessional sister, but she is new to the podcast game and She doesn't know. I mean, fair enough. Vogue's never been late. She's never forgotten a pod. Yeah. Anyway, we are having a good time. Do you know what, girls? I have the absolute fear. I was just thinking about it today.
I am honestly considering like trying to if anyone's renting out their house in August within an hour of London so I can get back. If I need to, I'd really appreciate that. It does have to have some kind of body of water for me to get in and out of because I think there's a chance I'll die. Like I've never been like that where I'm just like, it's too hot, it's too hot.
I am passing away with the heat and I'm in Ireland.

Chapter 2: What struggles do Vogue and Amber face at Center Parcs?
What's it over there at the moment, Emma? 34. It's absolutely boiling. Oh God. Imagine like the people that have to get the tube.
I got the tube today. It was awful. It was like an oven.
And then if you try and dress less, you're going to be touching arms and stuff. Hang on, Emma. You don't have to get the tube, Emma. No, no, no. You live because you could cycle to work in half an hour.
Yeah, I know. But one of my friends cycled to work this morning and he was like, it's still boiling because there's no wind. It's just still heat.
Well, I have ordered myself a pair of slippers that go in the freezer because I was laying in bed the other night and I was like, my feet, I'm going to have to take them off the ankles. I'm going to have to remove them. It's probably so bad. And then someone was telling me you can get like cooling gel and I have seen that stuff. And I wondered, who are the patrons of this cooling gel? Me.
I'm going to go and buy the cooling gel. But think about cooling gel and stuff like that you get for when you shower or when you've been sunburned. There's been a lot of sunburned people. What's it like in London?
A lot of sunburned people in Ireland. The salmons are out.
Oh, like it's just, and like, but not even a little bit, like quite bad. Sorry, I'm trying to not be too close to the camera because I don't have any makeup on because we've literally blitzed. Otto bribed me into doing the rapids again. Rapids wouldn't be my favorite thing. Okay, Amber, do you know what? You selfish guy. You're selfish.
If you weren't pregnant, I wouldn't have to go in them so much. The Rapids are my favorite part of Central Park and I can't go in them at all. I just have to watch and film. Today I've been on the Rapids, I would say close to 10 times. That's a lot. Never enough for me, to be honest with you.

Chapter 3: How does Vogue cope with the heat while pregnant?
Never a bloody enough for me.
Although I want to go in the Rapids. Will you take me on the Rapids?
Oh my God. Yeah, but you know what? It's really like, because Penny was joking like, oh, we'll definitely have You never know if Vogue might want a fifth. No. I knew it before and I definitely know it now. We've got five kids with us and two of them are older, Jeannie and William, and they're self-sufficient and they're pretty well behaved. But it's just all of them. At one time.
You know, there's a lot of them. But they all want different things. I do. I do think, and I know we do it all the time and everyone does this and we're terrible for it. But like last, about three weeks ago, I was like, Jesus Christ, I can't live here. It's just too, I'm not living here. It is too cold. I am not spending every single winter here. And now we get the weather and it's gorgeous.
And I'm like, Christmas. It's terrible, but it's like we can't be happy. I know, but it was a bit warm. We went out in the boats, but half the kids wanted to be on the boat. Half the kids didn't want to be on the boat. And it's me on the boat with the kids. We only did one loop of the fecking thing. And they're like, I want to get off. I want to get off.
There's too many kids for them all to want to do the same thing at the same time. 40 quid that boat cost me. We were on it, I'd say, for about seven minutes. Oh, please. I can't bear. I cannot bear the weight. But T got me to take him over to the football. He didn't want to go on the boat. He wanted to play. And I said, T, no one is there to play football with you.
He has been wanting to go to this AstroTurf since we got here. And I said, okay, I'll bring you over. But T, I can't really run around playing football. I'm not really, I'm very pregnant. So eventually he got me in the goals, but like, he was so excited. This dad and son came and he was like, like pointing at them like, mom, look, they're here. They've got a ball they're going to play.
And they started playing Ga together and he doesn't know what Ga is. Ga is daily football, Emma. Where you obviously bounce the ball every three steps or else you give it a little volley. Oh God. So he wasn't offered a place on their Ga team. So then I had to get the bloody goals and I'm like this. I mean, I'm slow on my feet when I'm not pregnant. I am slow on my feet right now.
Just shuffling along, missing it. Then I was like, God, T's actually kicked the ball pretty hard. I shouldn't really be in front of this. This place makes you realize how unfit you are because you get just knocked out of you with all the swimming and stuff like that. And then you have to cycle on IMO. I've got the baby carriage, not a baby carriage, but I've got the bucket on the back of mine.

Chapter 4: What funny experiences do they have on the rapids?
I've got to pep. I've got to pep. I've got to pep. Come on, let's go. Pep yourself up. Currently, Amber is winning 3-2, so I don't know why you're complaining. We are going into week six with question number one. What did Vogue try for the first time in France?
Yes, Vogue. Like, what? She needs to be more consistent. This is such... I called foul. She can't keep having a different noise every week. She went... She said... Like, honestly, come on. I have to do the same thing all the time. I just remember Grinchy. Okay, go. Listen, she's overtired, okay? I am tired. And I was asleep by like half nine last night, but then the boys woke up at six.
What was the answer, Virgie? Iced coffee. It is iced coffee. Correct. Well done. Question number two. What did Amber spend hours researching at the weekend? yes amber tiktok transitions correct because it was such a dull conversation thank you question number three i saw a low-hanging dog willy in oslo but what breed was the dog oh I do think that was Amber by like a fraction of a second.
I actually watched her go after me.
No, you didn't. I watched it happen. I don't think you did.
Okay, so as the judge has said, it was like a basset hound, like a bloodhound.
It was a basset hound. Correct.
she's raging look how quickly her mood turns that's no I'm really angry about that because I watch you go after me Gigi Gigi is your daughter that is for sure you want to see how quickly that girl's moods flip oh my god flip flop flip flop Monique then we come back here she's heading in there doing her makeup I'm in here doing my makeup Like, this is where we are. I'm allowed to wear mascara.
I was like, are you sure? I was like, go and ask your mom and tell your mom to shout into me if you're allowed to wear mascara. And then I could hear her having a middle of the phone. No, you're not wearing mascara. You never get to wear mascara. I said, are you telling me to pork your pies, girl? I usually am allowed to wear mascara. Every day, she said. I said, no, you're not, actually.
