Game plan. You're the GM of an organization and you're needing to realign the organization of how they look at search and you're trying to broaden their perspective of it.

How can leaders get every stakeholder to view search through a user‑first lens?

What's your game plan to align all the stakeholders within your team into
Zak Ali 1:05
how they should look at search? Think I would get everyone in a room. I would ask how they're currently using search and ask them to be real with themselves on if they're clicking into articles or if the LLM is sufficient enough for their needs in most cases. And hopefully the answers you get from that frame how to move forward. I think going back to um what we were talking about earlier. Let's start thinking like humans again and not like people trying to solve a puzzle. What do you want and how would you want to have this information communicated to you is going to be the answer in many cases for what to do next. If you're someone who who has TikTok and gets lost on it for four hours a day when you're trying when you should be going to sleep, like, then you know that you get information from TikTok in that way.

Why should organizations discard old SEO playbooks and focus on real user behavior?

Zak Ali 1:52
Or if you're someone who only uses YouTube or for like movie reviews and breakdowns, like then you know you need to be on YouTube. And so I would say throw out the old playbook for the most part. You know, stuff still matters, technical SEO, all that what whatever, but this is a chance to start fresh and think about put the Customer front and center again.

Time for a one-minute break to hear from our sponsor, Previsible. So you're looking for SEO help, then you got a couple of options. You could start replying to spam from agencies that claim they can get you to rank number one on Google. You can pay an hourly rate for a consultant who will inevitably nickel and dime you with hourly charges, or you can work with a cookie cutter agency to quickly launch a strategy-less project with low success rate. None of those sound very good. Now do they?

What practical steps help put the customer at the center of content strategy after the update?

Unknown 2:36
Well, that's where Previsible's integrated consulting model comes in. Previsible draws from a collective 40 years of SEO and digital marketing experience to unlock your organic growth opportunities.
