Thanks for having me today. Uh it's really a pleasure to be in this podcast session.
It's great, great to have you. First time having you on the podcast. And in this episode, we're going to be kind of diving into content, SEO strategy, but really focus kind of like within the B2B space. So maybe to kind of start things out for the listeners, what unique challenges or elements do you feel like exist within B2B that may be different in other verticals or other kind of industries.
Sure. So um I think there are a few topics to discuss around this uh question. But the first one came to my mind is having a long term journey instead of a short term success stories uh while comparing to B to C. especially including more decision making process but also uh giving the nature of the B2B world and the search volumes and also the niche of the industries, the specific sectors. I think SEO is more long term when it comes to B2B. And another challenge is sometimes either the project owners or the decision makers are not aware of this or are not made aware of this so that expectations may not match uh at the end of the journey or during the journey.
What unique challenges do B2B companies face compared to B2C when planning SEO?
So I think there are a few topics which come to the same result or let's say same issue and challenge. and then at at the end miscommunication may occur or people may not understand each other's expectations and also at the end of the journey either the SEO team or the marketing team or the main team who's looking after the project may seem like not successful or not achieved the expected results or I don't know, maybe those things are actually a few areas I have noticed and experienced in the past. Um and still even if I'm trying to be clear as much as I can w in terms of communicating on this side and making people aware and convince them that this should be the way uh that we are looking for. Um sometimes uh this is what it is and some people and decision makers have different perspectives.
So It's not easy to change it's one night.
Yeah, fair. And so it sounds like with that too, you have this kind of heightened need to be managing the expectations. And I mean, in kind of in general, it sounds like that, more of like that stakeholder management to kind of keeping the buy-in, keeping the motivation as you have this kind of longer timeline to having the overall impact.
Yeah.
From identifying like the right content or SEO strategy, what tips would you have for the listeners of creating kind of an effective strategy within specifically the B2B businesses?
So I would split it into two, depending on the budget, because B to be startups versus B to be companies, big enterprises, etcetera. I think they they may act and play differently in this content strategy period, but if we consider let's say startups, which I also experience in my own uh startups as well, well
