And with that, here's my conversation with Yamir Shimchek, founder and SEO consultant at Search and Such. Yamir, welcome back.
Yagmur Simsek 1:33
Hi again. Thanks for having me.
Tyson Stockton 1:35
No, yesterday we kinda we teased the audience a little bit by kind of just barely touching on the subject where we were talking about how we can be deliberate in how AI versus human content is. You also were kind of touching on even type of expertise within, you know, the human-created element. Maybe to kind of just level set with the listeners, like from a broad sense, how are you kind of thinking about like the different types of applications of content between, you know, full human, hybrid human AI, just AI? Like what's your kind of mindset towards that topic?
Yagmur Simsek 2:17
Sure. So um first of all as a SEO consultant I'm always I mean since obviously AI has been there for like ages, but obviously recent years we we decided to talk about it more than often. So um most of the freelance clients or my network uh we always discuss if AI is gonna kill our content strategy or our content team or We create content with AI if it's gonna kill our traffic so no. um impact our traffic in a negative way or positive way, etc.

How does Yagmur differentiate between full‑human, hybrid, and AI‑only content creation?

Yagmur Simsek 2:51
So I think there's no one answer to this, uh and no one could actually reply in one uh answer, but it depends on the experience we have or it depends on our content strategy and also the way we approach this in different projects with different teams and platforms. So given my experience so far I wanted to test it on our website on at Global Cyber Security Network because we were a new website we actually worked hard to increase that traffic from the scratch and um obviously even if that traffic is not going sky uh we didn't want to lose it just to be to use AI let's say so we started small we uh started with short text and copies that we want to implement on our website for B2B landing page or service page, etc.
Yagmur Simsek 3:44
Obviously those pages are more generic page contents and most of websites may use similar content. So Google is not so far Google is not seeing it as a kind of AI written content because we also go through it and edit some stuff, etc. But when it comes to long term con long uh kind of format content, uh like articles, guides, etcetera, obviously we take a step back and then think about our strategy and the team capacity on how we can actually manage this in the best way and the ideal way for us and for um our success, let's say. As I mentioned in the briefly in the previous session, we created first um we kind of uh split our teams into three different groups. The one group is now R and D group. And uh one group is now um looking for experts to be collaborating for our content.
Yagmur Simsek 4:40
And one group is the social media uh or other ideation, etc., or inspirational content finder group.
