How will OpenAI and Google’s agentic browsers change research in the next 18 months?
So next one, Crystal Ball, looking out into the future, predictions of how things will develop. How will discovery in the buyer's journey look like in the next 18 months with agents as primary
users? Yeah, I think um I think so we've got examples of like uh Perplexity Comet. I think um OpenAI will release their own this um kind of agentic browser, I think, uh soon after Google will too.
What new capabilities will AI agents have beyond simple summaries?
And in about eighteen months those will be commonplace and they will do the vast majority of the research for you. So we have kind of like summaries now in AI, but essentially now they'll start navigating websites for you, clicking on buttons, uh looking at reports and so on, and um coming back with analyses for you almost to make a decision on your behalf.
Absolutely. And I mean a lot of it's like I've been almost describing to people, it's like thinking of like personal assistance in that regard. Where it's like, yeah, it's that not just presentation of what's already stored cached, but also that like acquiring of new information on your behalf, I think will be a key aspect of it.
Why is autonomous information acquisition key for future personal assistants?
